"He who is not with Me is against Me"

That is the battle, the war in heaven and within every person: Whoever is advocating for what is natural and worldly, is not "with" Jesus.

"God is spirit", "the Word became flesh and dwelt among us", and His word "is spirit."

And yet daily, right here on Christianity Board, there are wolves in sheep's clothing speaking against the Spirit and advocating for what is natural, of men and of this world. I know, because I advocate daily here for the Spirit. But that's just me. The point, and the shame, and the warning, is that those who advocate for what is natural and of men and of the world, are not "with" Him who's words are spirit, but "against" Him.

Whoever is--or would like to be--"with" Him--let that be your test. Take it from John, he's the apostle who said "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God" (1 John 4:1):

"With Me" isn't just a "whoever believes in Me" statement, it's a "whoever is with Me on the cross" statement. It goes beyond belief...because "Many are called, but few chosen." Which means "with Me", ultimately means "Christ in you."

"Christ in you." It's that simple--but it is only possible in spirit. Meaning, those who speak against the Spirit are not of or "in Christ." It is for this reason Paul wrote, "But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ."

If you are, or have, struggled with this, consider what being without the Spirit would do to every word from God in scripture. Beware of any such doctrine. What have you, if every word is not "the Sword of the Spirit?" The craftiness of the serpent? Yes!
