I’ve heard this from many people, including pastors in sermons make this claim. What do you believe and what makes you believe it since it is not explicitly stated in Scrioture?

At the same time, I‘ve observed Christians mock JW for naming the precarnate angel, Micheal.

I would say yes. Some of the things said by the Angel of the Lord could not be said by an "ordinary" angel. For example:

NKJV Gen 16:10 Then the Angel of the LORD said to her, "I will multiply your descendants exceedingly, so that they shall not be counted for multitude."

Is it within the powers of an ordinary angel to multiply somebody's descendants?

NKJV Gen 22:11 But the Angel of the LORD called to him from heaven and said, "Abraham, Abraham!" So he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:12 And He said, "Do not lay your hand on the lad, or do anything to him; for now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me."

The action of Abraham in not withholding his son was to God, not an ordinary angel.

NKJV Exo 3:2 And the Angel of the LORD appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed.
Exo 3:3 Then Moses said, "I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn."
Exo 3:4 So when the LORD saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, "Moses, Moses!" And he said, "Here I am."

Unless one claim that both an angel and God Himself were in the burning bush, the Angel of the Lord must refer to somebody possessing deity/

I’ve heard this from many people, including pastors in sermons make this claim. What do you believe and what makes you believe it since it is not explicitly stated in Scrioture?

At the same time, I‘ve observed Christians mock JW for naming the precarnate angel, Micheal.

The actual meaning... of the word 'angel' in God's Word simply means a 'messenger' (OT:4397, ma'lak; NT:32 aggelos). It is not actually a heavenly specie. But it does signify one who is operating from the heavenly dimension.

The way the Angel of The LORD is identified as God in the Messenger role, which points to His Son before Jesus was born in the flesh, is the CONTEXT of what the Angel stated:

Judg 2:1
2 And
an angel of the LORD came up from Gilgal to Bochim, and said, "I made you to go up out of Egypt, and have brought you unto the land which I sware unto your fathers; and I said, I will never break My covenant with you."
KJV

Who made the children of Israel to go up out of Egypt? God did.

Who brought the children of Israel into the lands of Canaan that He swore unto their fathers? God did.

Who told the children of Israel that He would never break His covenant with them? God did.

That "angel of The LORD" there is speaking as God in the first person. That's how we know that doesn't mean just any ordinary angel.

Also, God's Word as written declares Christ as God, and that all things were created through The Christ.

The Christ was never created. His title of Immanuel in the Book of Isaiah means 'God with us' (i.e., God with us in the flesh). Jesus Christ is called the Only Begotten Son in connection with His birth as God come in the flesh through woman's womb to die on the cross.

Greetings Wrangler,
I’ve heard this from many people, including pastors in sermons make this claim. What do you believe and what makes you believe it since it is not explicitly stated in Scrioture?
I believe that the Angel was one of the Archangels who spoke and acted on behalf of the One God, Yahweh, God the Father. Two of these are specifically named, Michael and Gabriel and the Angel mentioned in Zechariah 3 and is called YHWH is specifically named as Michael in Jude. I do not believe that Jesus existed before he was conceived and born. He is a human, the Son of God by birth, character and resurrection.

The word Elohim is used to describe the One God, Yahweh, God the Father, but in some contexts it also includes the Angels, and other contexts it is speaking of the Angels or Judges who represent God and speak on behalf of God, and this can be in a unique way as if God is actually speaking which is unusual to our way of thinking or expression.

Kind regards
Trevor

SDA and JW organizations believe that, but it is not true. Jesus of Nazareth is Immanuel "God with us", meaning God come in the flesh through woman's womb. He was not created, nor is He some kind of angelic specie, because the word angel simply means 'messenger' and is not a heavenly specie.

The proper name for the angels in heaven is "sons of God", a name that all those who believe on Jesus Christ are now called too, which is because in the future at the redemption of our body by Christ Jesus, we also will have a type body like the angels, which Apostle Paul called a "spiritual body"...

Mark 12:24-27
24 And Jesus answering said unto them, "Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God?

25 For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.

26 And as touching the dead, that they rise: have ye not read in the book of Moses, how in the bush God spake unto him, saying, "I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?'

27 He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: ye therefore do greatly err.

I do not accept the SDA or JW view of the conception and birth of Jesus. Many but not all SDA's are Trinitarians.

Yes, the One God, Yahweh, God the Father is revealed in and through Jesus, the Son of God.

Yes.

Yes, the One God, Yahweh, God the Father is revealed in and through Jesus, the Son of God.

Apostle Paul used the Greek word theiotes in Romans 1:20, which is divinity in the abstract sense, which is actually pointing to the 3 Persons in the Godhead, God The Father, God The Son, and God The Holy Spirit.

The Bible does teach the idea of the Trinity, so that's not simply an early Roman Church idea. The Book of Hebrews says Jesus is the "express image" of His Person, which in the Greek uses a word that means like a stamp out of an exact copy (NT:5481).

NT:2305
theiotes (thi-ot'-ace); from NT:2304; divinity (abstractly):
KJV - godhead.

Yet, there are Elohim, heavenly beings or species, right? (I see this as a Venn diagram or application of senses of words, like set).

I don’t dig in, investigate “every denominations” doctrines and traditions, to Decide if I want to “follow their Doctoral Teachings and Traditions”.

I have “A Trusted Teacher and Friend”, same as it appears, you have the Same Teacher and Friend…ie.;

BAD... MISQUOTE ON YOUR PART.

I showed in my above posts that the CONTEXT of the actual Scripture determines when the Angel of The LORD is actually The LORD in God's Word.

I NEVER AGREED WITH SDA OR JW THAT JESUS IS A 'CREATED ANGEL'!!!

SO GET YOUR INFORMATION RIGHT.

Colossians 1:
15. Who is the image of the invisible GOD, the firstborn of every creature:
16. For by Him were all things created, that are in Heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions. or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him:
17. And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist.

Hebrews 1:
10. And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:

John 1:
4. In Him was life; and the life was the light of men.

He is the image of the invisible GOD and created angels and gave them their positions and powers in Heaven and on earth.

At the same time, He as the Word in the beginning is God and the Lord in Heaven, and the only begotten of the FATHER.

Angels, aren't they not 'all' ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation? (Hebrew 1:14)

Angels are also referred to as sons of GOD, but there's no mention of they're made in the image of GOD, unlike the Son and man on earth.

Therefore i believe He's not an angel, but a spirit in a different form identical to the ezxpress image of GOD the FATHER in person. (Hebrews 1:3)

Shalom in the name of Lord Jesus Christ

THE " Angel of the LORD" refers to Jesus and AN angel of the LORD refers to an ordinary angel

I don't believe this is what we find in the OT, because "an angel of the LORD" is also associated with "the angel of the LORD". In Judges 2:1 I don't think there should be any doubt that an angel of the LORD refers to God. Whether an epiphany for Christ or the Father, makes no difference. Manoah especially leaves little room to doubt that an angel and the angel of the LORD both refer to God.

Judges 2:1 (KJV) And an angel of the LORD came up from Gilgal to Bochim, and said, I made you to go up out of Egypt, and have brought you unto the land which I sware unto your fathers; and I said, I will never break my covenant with you.

Jg 6:11 ¶ And there came an angel of the LORD, and sat under an oak which was in Ophrah, that pertained unto Joash the Abi-ezrite: and his son Gideon threshed wheat by the winepress, to hide it from the Midianites.
Jg 6:12 And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him, and said unto him, The LORD is with thee, thou mighty man of valour.

Jg 6:22 And when Gideon perceived that he was an angel of the LORD, Gideon said, Alas, O Lord GOD! for because I have seen an angel of the LORD face to face.
Jg 6:23 And the LORD said unto him, Peace be unto thee; fear not: thou shalt not die.

Jg 13:20 For it came to pass, when the flame went up toward heaven from off the altar, that the angel of the LORD ascended in the flame of the altar. And Manoah and his wife looked on it, and fell on their faces to the ground.
Jg 13:21 But the angel of the LORD did no more appear to Manoah and to his wife. Then Manoah knew that he was an angel of the LORD.
Jg 13:22 And Manoah said unto his wife, We shall surely die, because we have seen God.

KJV

Nowhere in Scripture are angels ever referred as "sons of God". Sons of God are human, not spirit beings. God tells us in Hebrews that Christ did not take on the seed of angels, but the seed of Abraham, a man. Because it was flesh & blood mortal humans Christ became one with them that they might be eternally saved through Him.

Heb 2:10 ¶ For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
Heb 2:11 For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,
Heb 2:12 Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.
Heb 2:13 And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.
Heb 2:14 ¶ Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
Heb 2:15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
Heb 2:16 For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.
Heb 2:17
Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
Heb 2:18 For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

God tells us that he at any time did not say to any of them they are begotten through His Son. The angels of God worship Him, being made spirits, sent as ministering spirits to minister "for them who shall be heirs of salvation."

Hebrews 1:5 (KJV) For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
Heb 1:6
And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
Heb 1:7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.

Heb 1:13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?
Heb 1:14
Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

Angels are never called sons/children of God, because angels of God have never fallen, and do not need a Saviour, which is why Christ came in the form of mankind, and not in the form/nature of the angels of God in heaven; spirits.
