Right now I feel very urgently about the salvation of my children and how do I protect them from the mark of the beast.
Nahum 1:2 God is jealous, and the Lord revengeth; the Lord revengeth, and is furious; the Lord will take vengeance on His adversaries, and He reserveth wrath for His enemies.Revelation 14:9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,16:2.And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image. You and your children are not His adversaries or enemies. His wrath is only for those that take the mark....not for His children that love Him. He is our Father and loves us...He promises no harm will fall upon us if we don't take the mark.Neither you nor your children will worship the beast because you know who he is. He comes first pretending to be Christ.....do not follow him. Whoever comes first that looks and acts like Christ IS NOT CHRIST. If you are in a flesh body IT IS NOT CHRIST. When the true Saviour comes we are changed into a spiritual body...you and your children are changed. They aren't old enough to "buy and sell" but you are. My suggestion, which is what I have done, is to stock up on essentials that will last for a few months. Others choose not to. They say, and could be right, that God will provide....as He did for the Israelites in the desert. Please try not to worry. The more knowledge you can gain from His Word is always good but the important things are to love Him, to repent of your sins, and know that He loves you. Why would He want to harm you or your children?
But in the meantime, what do you all think is the proper analysis of Nicolaitanes?
I can give you a quote of what the scholar E.W. Bullinger said:Nicolaitanes. History has no record of these. Tradition says much. They will appear "in that day." All we do know is that they are hateful to God..........Whirlwind

I have thought about you this morning and your concern. It's important to trust in God....to know how He loves you and know that everything is under His control. There are many verses throughout the Bible that tell us His wrath is for His enemies, the wicked, etc....not for those that love Him. There are also many verses about His promises to us, about His love for us, about His protection of us. I came across the following this morning and hope it helps you.Naham 1:7. The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and He knoweth them that trust in Him.Trust in Him LittleLight and know that "in that day" you stand on the Rock....trust Him with your life and that of your children....they couldn't be in better hands.........Whirlwind

When you say, "Death entered this world because of Adam's sin. Before that there was no death," you are correct. We were not flesh in the first age just as we will not be flesh in the next age....we are the same soul and same spirit but now (2nd age) in a flesh body. Death, physical death, is in this age and concerns our physical, flesh bodies....the 3rd age will be about the death of our souls, the true death. This is why we find remains of animals from millenia ago but not humans...humans were not in flesh bodies!
I am somewhat new to all of this but this is exactly what went click in my little brain after I heard the rebuttal to the 3 earth ages using sin as the reason. This 3 earth ages makes perfect sense to me, and actually brings some of the scriptures together. If the soul is eternal, then wouldn't it have existed before hand as well, not just stretching out into the future but from before. As well Christ was borne in the flesh but in John we know that He was the word and was in the beginning.I don't have a lot of time right now so I can't go into more and I didn't read all the other responses to this yet either. Thanks everyone who contributed. I'm sure I'll be back soon.

This teaching, on the 3 earth ages, is what brought me to God's Word. As you stated.....scriptures came together. Scriptures made sense. This, and a few other deep teachings truly open His Word to such understanding. Sadly, they are not taught in mainstream churches but they are definitely in His Word. They are there for those that have eyes and ears!.......Whirlwind

Thank you, whirlwind. I've been very busy and haven't had a chance to check back in here for a little while. It is so interesting that you quoted that verse from Nahum. It is so encouraging and I just quoted it to a friend last week
