Let's let it speak for itself:)Romans 12:1-10 [NLT]. I believe clicking the Romans link will taking you to KJV.And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Because of the privilege and authority God has given me, I give each of you this warning: Don’t think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us. Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other. In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you. If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly. Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.

I like it. To give a short testimony to compliment that..For a long time in my youth, I had a relationship with God and wanted to be zealous, was waiting for an opportunity to be extreme, waiting for God to put me in that "hero" situation, where I could prove my faith and devotion to him by dying for him...maybe someone would put a gun to my head in front of a bunch of people and ask if I was a believer in Christ, who knows...But as I matured and grew in understanding, I realized that a split second decision to jump in front of a bus for God was easy. To live a long, exhausting lifetime as a living sacrifice by dieing to my own flesh and nature...that was so much more of an offering and a demonstration of my faith. It's been a journey towards that goal ever since, falling and getting back on the horse along the way, trying to keep that sacrifice from crawling off the alter, as Rick Warren wisely puts it.It makes me think of Christ too, and how everyone focuses so much on saying "He died on the cross for you!" There's so much of that line being thrown around, I think people are closed to it. But I try to focus on his over 30 years of living without sin...what a sacrifice!! "If you don't think it's hard" I say, "Do it for a month."And all we need to illustrate how much he did in that period of his lifetime before he started preaching was, "lived obiediently."I'm still an extremist in some ways, and would still love to die for God. But what a great mission and opportunity to live for him in the meantime!
