It is probably not a thought that anybody on earth would want to think is true, but knowing the extent of the "strong delusion" and the behavior of so many who call themselves "Christians" (and the billions who have done so all throughout history), sometimes I think that the 144,000 might refer to the actual number of those who finally attain eternal life (the "GUARANTEE" of salvation, Ephesians 1:14). Originally, Jesus devotion was called "THE WAY" (Acts 24:22).Why it was changed to "Christianity" (Acts 11:26) is a mystery, but I can only speculate that it was Roman slang meant for the disrespect of Jesus devotion. Either way, christianity's beliefs and practices definitely have been "Romanized" all throughout history for the sake of a "moneychanger" empire for the hierarchy, and for the sake of PRIDE/vain ego on the part of churchgoers. In John 14:6, Jesus said three things,..He said that He is "THE WAY" and He said that He is all objective/absolute truth ("AND SO BE SAVED", 2 Thessalonians 2:10) and He said that He is REAL/genuine life (eternal life starts now for a Godly character/spirit). Somehow, we've always come to think of all these words as though Jesus spoke poetically and we never take them at face value. The bible is actually only the INTRODUCTORY doctrine (Hebrews 6:1) that is good for "training" in repentance (self discipline, etc., 2 Timothy 3:16). Titus 2:12 "training us to renounce irreligion and worldly passions...".The "bible" (the word is not found in scripture, it's simply man's designation for "scripture") should not be INTERPRETED to mean something that a person finds to be more convenient, it should be understood "as is"...Ephesians 5:17"Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is".The bible is correctly called the "WORD OF TRUTH" (2 Timothy 2:15, Ephesians 1:13, Colossians 1:5). We should live by every word that PRESENTLY proceeds from the mouth of God, not the words that HAVE proceeded up until two thousand years ago. When God speaks to each one of us, we should "HEAR" His voice (John 10:27, Ephesians 6:17, "sword of" His spirit). The 3 manifestations (gifts to all humanity, creation, salvation, spiritual teaching) have been replaced by the teachings of the 6th day creation all throughout history. 666 is not the number of a "new creation", it is the number of a "sixth day creation" (Revelation 13:18). WE (humanity) are 666.The following is a post I just wrote on another forum, but it shows so much of how we have misunderstood by always being taught by "the moneychangers" (and is only a small part of the false teachings also). How could we have always been so blind?,....the "STRONG delusion" for the insincere (of course, God opens the eyes of those who truly LOVE Him).=========================In the KJV, there is a verse that explains that God is no respecter of personalities, He only has regard for a person's true nature/spirit (character).Acts 10:34"God is no respecter of persons".Personalities of being spiritual are only a FORM of Godliness, they are artificial (not a genuine NATURE/character), insincere and hypocritical. The Godly nature is one of "light"...1 John 1:5"God is light".Ephesians 5:8 and 9"walk as children of light"...(for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true). Many Christians simply choose to show a personality of being Godly by imitating the fruits of a Godly spirit (fruits of the spirit), but are not truly "good and right and true" in character (spirit), attitude, and speech. They don't speak "in no uncertain terms" so as to take care that they communicate the truth of what they have to say (they don't really "love the truth AND SO BE SAVED", 2 Thessalonians 2:10).There are many "faiths" in the world, but regardless of how much in error they are about the truth of God, they usually include some kind of philosophy that improves the inner person (character). Summed up, the institutional/traditional teachings of Christianity overwhelmingly emphasize simple 'conformity to the bible', not the Godly NATURE of a person (the traditional teachings do not necessarily make the worshipper a truly honorable and peaceful person in everyday life).Christian scripture contains words that God spoke up until 2000/1900 years ago. It also contains many things that were explained to ancient cultures that were making the transition to a devotion in Jesus. They hadn't yet fully shed their old traditions of meeting in "worship centers"/buildings, having a hierarchy of "priests", praying in public, "worshipping with lips" (sound), etc. Matthew 6:6"...when you pray, go into your room and shut the door".We must be wise in how we choose to form our devotion and relationship with God. Jesus never said that we should imitate scripture...Ephesians 5:1"Therefore be imitators of God...".We must be prepared to decide what we truly feel is just and Godly and build our own "personal" relationship with God (and we should remember that the scripture we read didn't exist for them).Ancient cultures were very prudish and self-serving in alot of ways. There probably isn't a person on earth who hasn't been emotionally terrorized by those who want to get the most out of us they can get (regardless of the damage to our own lives they cause). The following two verses point out the need to be more discriminating when we read scripture...2 Corinthians 12:14"for children ought not to lay up for their parents, but parents for their children".1 Timothy 5:8"he has disowned the faith and is worse than an unbeliever".Decide which you feel is right and just and loving for your children and heart. We have always been taught that the bible (the word "bible" is not found in scripture, it is simply man's designation for "scripture") is a spiritual authority, but Jesus said that He is the ONLY authority in the universe...Matthew 28:18"ALL authority in heaven and earth has been given to me".The pastors/ministers, scholars/commentators, etc. always had a special responsibility to teach us properly about the "depths of God" (1 Corinthians 2:10) and how to have a "faith for faith" (Romans 1:17, Hebrews 11:6) so we can "enter by the door" (John 10:1), but they'd rather maintain their "moneychanger empire" and never noticed that the "strong delusion" is not a future event, but is for all the insincere who choose to put worldly kingdoms("gods") before The Lord and His kingdom. Churchgoers are not without fault though, because so many of us have enjoyed the worldly kingdom of pride and have chosen to glorify ourselves instead of God (few will REJECT mammon).Whether the "last days" is seen as starting at the first Pentecost or not (when the spirit was "GIVEN", John 7:39), it is the LAST of the "last days" (when the spirit is POURED, Acts 17:24) that are happening now that God is enabling Christianity to realize that baptism is NOT accomplished with H2O, it is the inner baptism (consecration) of the inner temple (the individual) to the outer temple (Jesus). Jesus established the worship temple in "three days" as HIS OWN BODY...John 2:19"in three days" verse 21 "He spoke of the temple of His body" (the outer temple).1 Corinthians 3:16 "Do you not know that you are God's temple...".Jesus did "the works of God" (John 6:28 ) and our "works" should be to simply TRUST that what He did is all that is necessary for us to have salvation (John 9:3, they should be "manifest IN" us). We must be careful not to establish another foundation with self "works" (Jesus is our ONLY foundation, Hebrews chapter 6). If we do, Jesus will not overlook that apostasy (for His judgements are always just).Jesus became our sabbath rest...Luke 6:5"The Son of man is lord of the sabbath".Everything that Jesus accomplished in the crucifixion and resurrection has always been ignored because the moneychangers need to maintain control of us through fear and regimentation/partisanship...Ephesians 2:15"by abolishing in His flesh...".James 1:25"the perfect law, the law of liberty...".James 2:12"So speak and so act...".We've always been encouraged to pursue "fruits of the spirit" and special "gifts" that we can be proud of while the moneychangers cheer us on (because the moneychangers need a continuous supply of our money). It is that "PRIDE" that we have been taught to seek, not The Lord. That is why it is so important that we must realize that the "fruit" of "light" (God) is what is necessary so that the inner temple (us) can be consecrated (baptized) to the outer temple (Jesus) by the LIVING water that flowed at the cross (1 John 5:6, John 7:38, Acts 1:5) so that we "neither thirst" (Revelation 7:16). When and if we decide to give someone help/assistance, we should not give our help grudgingly, we should give it willingly/cheerfully (God loves the CHEERFUL giver, not the hypocritical one). We've always been taught this according to the "moneychanger bias", but it actually has nothing to do with money or giving anything to God (as though He needs anything, Acts 17:25).JESUS did all of the "works" and became our sabbath. We should simply REST (relax) in The Lord and live "the law of LIBERTY" because Jesus liberated us from the penalty of the sin laws. Develop eyes to see and ears to hear so you can learn the "depths of God" (1 Corinthians 2:10) and let GOD teach you, not man."walk by THE SPIRIT" (Galatians 5:16 and 25).He chose us, but do you chose Him? Will you base your relationship on "the greatest of these" (1 Corinthians 13:13) or faith only? Our faith should be borne out of love for God (our true heritage and only hero). The word "trinity" is only man's mathematical classification of anything that is "three"."God is ONE" (Galatians 3:20).
http://www.blueletterbible.org/search/tran...;t=RSV&sf=5It has always seemed that "christians" are satisfied to love Jesus only and forget about The Father (even though Jesus said "I and The Father are one").In Hebrew, the names "Jehovah" and "Elohim" are PLURAL (referring to "the gods"). The Father's "forever" name is "I am who I am" (Exodus 3:14).All verses unless otherwise noted are from the RSV.
