Philippians 3:20,

For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

Now you understand that there is a place where you walk and live. You let your conversation be in heaven, what is that? It's a daily lifestyle. If the things of this world seem to get under your skin so to say and you are frustrated with life, then you are not walking where you are supposed to walk. If the lastest polical upheaval has you down and out, you miss what Paul gives us, we are to let our conversation I be in heaven, we live a different lifestyle than the world does. We are just in this world you are not of this world, this world is a training ground for growth but you move on from the world.

To be caught up by the world is a harsh really of your father dealing severely with your understanding. The reality is he will use everything the world has to offer to teach you. Money is such a big draw, you can't live without it. But he will use money or the lack of to teach you. If you have money you are no different than those that do not. Money in the world we live in is always a sign of success in the eyes of man. Christian's fall prey through their lack of knowledge about money and other tools in the training ground called the world. You ever notice how spiritual people look with a new car fine clothes and a big house. Very successful in the eyes of man only, our father doesn't lose much sleep over whether you can attend the fashion show on Sunday.

Some of the most miserable have everything to their frustration, why is that. You can get it all and still not be content, sad fact is no one is exempt. You can get caught by the world by being led astray by the slight of men. I have seen men offer others everything imaginable, "the world can be yours if you want it and do what I say do," which will cost you something. Money is always involved in the schemes of men. Of coarse they claim they need to do a work for God, don't follow what man has to say lest you be caught by the world.

You see we live in a different place, a place discribed by Paul as heavenly. Don't walk as other's, and let your lifestyle be complete by walking where you were designed to walk. Some say "well I need money," your father will take care of you. You do what you are supposed to do, you be the son your supposed to be, he will be a father to you, Hebrews 1:5,

For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?

Schemes and such to try to get ahead in this world just brings correction from the father because this world is not for you to get ahead in. It is to teach you Christ, so the quicker you learn the faster you get out of the schoolhouse.

Have you noticed most of the time you have just exactly what you need and not really an excess of anything, why is that? You are learning! You are learning the more men talk about how you gain success, you see the opposite happening. What is that? It's your father teaching you, observe and listen, he is trying to get your full attention. The world and it's success's are not the answer. If man has placed a dangling carrot in front of you and you are chasing that carrot to no end, you are still in the schoolhouse.

@soul man "Conversation" sometimes rendered "citizenship".

I do love Philippians. :)

It's an interesting thing, conversation and citizenship.

"Conversation" in the KJV normally translating for "manner of living", "conduct", in this case, "citizenship", but the KJ uses "conversation".

I don't know why,

But it makes me think, as our citizenship is in heaven, we've been translated out of the kingdom of darkness and into Jesus' Kingdom, we are citizens of His heavenly kingdom, we are alive in heaven right now, having this citizenship is our true identity, and when we believe the truth our lives will show it.

We believe we are alive in heaven, alive with God, members of His kingdom, born into His family, this will make our conversation from heaven.

And even before Jesus appears in this world we have the opportunity to appear by our good conversation, as they see our good works, our good countenance, and trust in the Lord.

Much love!

Interesting “Conversation”...Galatians 1:13 For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:

Ephesians 2:2-3 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: [3] Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
...even as others. “Be not high minded” even as others ...in times passed you were by nature the children of wrath.

no longer children of wrath but called out from the wrath upon the world that it perishes. Psalm 28:5 Because they regard not the works of the Lord, nor the operation of his hands, he shall destroy them, and not build them up. Acts 20:32, Jude 1:20, 1 Corinthians 3:10

Colossians 2:11-12 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands(the operation of his hands), in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: [12] Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
