We read the 7th trumpet is sounded by the angel in Revelation 10:7 and the Mystery of God is known. This speaks so much and we only have this sentence. Our Lord through the prophets spoke their visions of Revelationconcerning the End. Joel 2:15 describes the event of the 7th trumpet blow and the mystery of God being revealed. The bridegroom outof his chambers, which is no longer a mystery at that point and the bride out of her room. verse 15) Blow the TRUMPET in Zion! declare a holy fast, call a sacred assembly. Gather the people. consecrate the assembly; bring together the elders, gather the children, those nursing at the breast. Let the Bridegroom leave His room and the Bride her chamber. This trumpet blown in Zion is the 7th trumpet in Revelations for the paragraph speaks of the bridegroom out of his room. This is when the Mystery of God is made known, that Revelation 10 speaks of. A holy fast is declared. The Day of Atonement is being at one with God. It is a Jewish feast kept by the Seed ofJacob today around the world and some sabbath keeping churches and Jews for Jesus, and perhaps others. I am not sure of the fullness of this spoken here in Joel, but I do know a Holy Fast means being at one with God. AT-ONE-MENTGather the people. Is this where 1 Thess 4:15 is being fulfilled? I would guess it be accurate. Consecrate the assembly. Means to make HOLY, the assembly of people. bring together the elders, gather the children, those nursing at the breast. This could be the elderly, Our children that have been sanctified and made holy through us and those nursing at the breast.Isaiah 44:3 for I will pour water on the thirsty land (Joel 2:22) and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on YOUR OFFSPRING. Our Lord is going to fill our children with His spirit on our descendants. We have not fully grasped this withthe doctrines we've all been taught, but we will soon understand all of it, for God doesn't lie, we just don't always understand. This has a lot of meaning, and it will be told to us somewhere in the scriptures, I haven't finished this yet. Let the bridegroom leave his room. We know this is Christ. He has came down from out of the heavens and has been disclosed to us, that he is no longer a mystery to us, is what I see here. and the Bride her chamber.... We know we are the bride of Christ. This is a fact, so we know this is the beginning of the 1000 yrs. reign called the Millennium, that is started and will complete with Satan being let loose to go out and deceive the nations once more, but not Zion. Rev 20:7. What else I found interesting in this chapter is the wild animals are on the earth when God brings up the new earth, verse 22 and God tells the animals not to be afraid as the grass is springing up with them on it. So the New earth is giving form after the Mystery of God has been revealed to us. This excited me. There is so much in the prophets that speak on Revelation from John. The return of Christ and our dwelling with him. In Christ's precious words of lifefriend

Excellent study Vickie, the Lord has definitely blessed you with those all important spiritual eyes and ears. I actually somewhat intentionally left this out of my study, though now that I think about it, it may actually make more sense to include it for the reasons you mentioned above. As far as those nursing at the breast, you might want to consider Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21 where the Lord says "woe to them that give suck [in that day]." I strongly believe the context there is much more spiritual than it is physical, as a child would be representative of the result that a whore would produce when she was unfaithful and committing adultery (the exact opposite of the willing and ready bride). I would further suggest that the young and the old are sort of a Hebraism for everyone similar to some of our modern day circus phrases that you might see in a cartoon or hear at a local circus. Check all of that against Scripture, of course!

Thanks, Denver. We are entering into the birth canal into the kingdom of God soon and there is much being opened up that none of us knew before. We have to be willing to receive a greater understanding of things not rushing to know the completeness of it all in some areas. I share one with you that I am receiving that I am not in full understanding of yet in the verses. In Joel 2:16 the elders and the children and those nursing at the breast are brought out. Look at Isaiah 44:3Isaiah 44:3 For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out MY SPIRIT ON YOUR OFFSPRING, and my blessings on your descendants. They will spring up like grass in the meadowlike a poplar trees by flowing streams. We know this is a future event with God on the earth in the Millennium from the description and events spoken of. Look at what Isaiah 44:5 says: One will say, "I belong to the Lord, another will call himself by the name of Jacob, and still another will write on his hand the "Lord's" and will take the name Israel. We have 3 groups of people in the Millennium. Their offspring. Which we Christians know that we are identified by the name of the Lord. Jacob's house is identified by that name, we are all together. I am leaning towards the children in Joel 2:16 being our children and their offspring. For they are holy and sanctified through us.I have been under the doctrinal belief, that their is an age of accountability. Some how this fits in this promise from God. God wrote it here and it will be. The age they are called children, but then there are those nursing at the breast. Could mean those under 33 yrs of age. But then this gets into speculation on my part. For I have not found an age accountability in the verses, only what I have heard from the pulpit. This has moved me to push back what I have been told from the doctrinal teachings and just hold onto what God is saying for it is true and it will be, I just don't know the fullness of it yet. If you have verses on it, please share them with me. IN Christ's precious words of truthVickie

Vickie, I think that only works when someone completely replied to you directly. (With your quote in it) But there was no quote in his posts.
