Some of the parameters are as follows:
Do we keep God’s commandments?
Do we forgive others as He forgives?
Do we love one another as He loves us?
Do we accept God’s will in all matters of our life and imitate Him by sacrificing our self interest in the process of helping those who have offended us and have been unfaithful to us?
Do we stay faithful to our marriage covenant unconditionally, just as Christ is faithful to His covenant with His people?

The book of James seems to indicate that for faith to live, it needs those parameters. James 22-26 (RSV):[/font]
"22 You see that faith was active along with his works, and faith was completed by works, 23 and the scripture was fulfilled which says, "Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness"; and he was called the friend of God. 24 You see that a man is justified by works and not by faith alone. 25 And in the same way was not also Rahab the harlot justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way? 26 For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so faith apart from works is dead." (Emphasis mine).

Christ himself had a similar message (I'm not going to quote the passages, but simply provide them):

Matthew 52-11
Matt 6:12
Matt. 22:39; Mark 12:31
Luke 6:46-47
John 13:34-35
John 14:15
John 15:10
1 Cor. 3:8
2 John 6

When I was given to believe (have faith) the Kingdom of God is coming, and I read Revelation 21 and 22, and I used the Words Christ Jesus gave me to guide me in my labors toward the Kingdom, and then I began to do (act) as I saw and perceived the way Christ Jesus acted according to what He professed, I began to see, as an actuality, the Kingdom of God coming to this earth. I found that it is not my works, it is the works of God through those who believe and are born again as they were through Christ Jesus. Christ Jesus said that the Words He gives to us are Spirit and they are Life. His Words, if believed, guide us to the Kingdom of God and His righteousness.

From my studies, I have come to understand that "Faith" includes the resultant actions of what we believe. Moreover, our acts of faith, which are in my opinion charity, are seen by the world as Love and the will and Saving Grace of God.

Blessings to you all...

Faith consists of three things , knowledge , belief , trust , we gain knowledge in what we read ,and believe what we learn , and trust what we have learned

God Bless GT
