Free will is not the liberty to do whatever one likes, but the power of doing whatever one sees ought to be done, even in the very face of otherwise overwhelming impulse. There lies freedom, indeed. - George MacDonald
The greatest sin today in the church is the man in the pew who is ignorant of the Bible. ~ J. Vernon Mcgee
"Why do we expect to be better treated in this world than Jesus was?" ~ Leonard Ravenhill

"It doesn't take an extraordinary person - just devotion to our extraordinary God - to live an extraordinary life." ~ Unknown.
Christ didn't merely show us humility, he showed us humiliation. Before exaltation comes humiliation. Before there can be a crown, there has to be a cross. And that is why so many are fatally deceived, for there are multitudes who wish to escape the Lake of fire who have no desire to be delivered from their carnality and worldliness." -A. W. Pink
Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, And rely on horses, Who trust in chariots because they are many, And in horsemen because they are very strong, But who do not look to the Holy One of Israel, Nor seek the Lord! Isaiah 31:1
"Groanings which cannot be uttered are often prayers which cannot be refused." ~ Charles Spurgeon

Another century and there will not be a Bible on earth! - Voltaire Voltaire expected that within fifty years of his lifetime there would not be one Bible in the world. His house is now a distribution center for Bibles in many languages. - Corrie Ten Boom
