Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

Can you read what I write. I said that He had to descend into Abraham's bosom to liberate the dead redeemed. He then took them to heaven. I believe that happened on that first day

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

Bro, you are not providing any evidence that Abraham's bosom was paradise - nothing. I think you know that. The fact the Greeks called it Elysian fields means nothing. Not sure what that has to do with anything. The Greek word used was paradeisos, which other Scripture locates in the 3rd...

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

There are some Scriptures that say he descended into Hades. Hades was a general name for both compartments of the underworld. Scott quotes some of those passages above.

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

This was said before the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. This was the reality from the Fall to the cross. But everything changed after the cross. The Old was fully fulfilled. He emptied Hades upon death, He descended into Hades and released the redeemed spirits. He did not raise the...

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

I did not say Christ did not descend into Hades. Read my post. I am not sure whether it occurred after the initial ascent of His Spirit to be with His Father or after. However, I do not believe He was there for 3 days. He conquered Hades. He then emptied it. He did not belong there.

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

Stop avoiding my question. Give me one clear Scripture that teaches that Paradise was Abraham's bosom? You have given nothing but your own personal opinion.

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

Yea right! Why not just be honest? You have no answer to the biblical evidence. I obviously suitably refuted your claims.

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

1 Peter 3:18-20 declares, "For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; Which sometime were disobedient, when once...

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

Did He go to hell for 3 days as you say? As soon as Christ died it seems like there was a mass evacuation from Hades. Ephesians 4:8-10 says, “when he (Christ) ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended...

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

This is all private interpretation. The dead body of Christ was in the grave for three days. But His spirit went immediately back to God in heaven. You therefore build your premise on a false assumption. Nowhere does it say His spirit was in Hades for 3 day, nor does it teach that Abrahams...

The founding fathers of modern-day Premillennialism were heretics

But this is another reason why we cannot trust it. Because there's no absolutes with it. It is all back and forth with a computer. It cannot truly reason. Only a human can do that. A human has ultimately fed this information to a website or websites. They're taking that from a website or websites.

I agree with your sentiments. We all fall short. Hopefully we can all take a breath and realize we are all brethren. We love the Lord and should love each other. I apologize for any frustration or harshness.

For the record, once anyone states chatgpt is the source of their argument, I move on. The post loses immediate credibility. I do not recognize it. That is my own personal conviction.

The founding fathers of modern-day Premillennialism were heretics

I agree. There was a lot of debate in the early Church about whether or not Revelation should be included in the Canon of Scripture. The ancient Church was geographically split in two in early times between the Western and the Eastern assemblies. Revelation was believed to have been largely...

I deleted my post. Feel free to delete your reply above. I appreciate your honesty and humility. That takes strength. I accept your apology. I apologize for offending you. Let us all work better at this.

Error is always gradual. Tertullian who lived between AD 160 and AD 240 is the first Chiliast to cite the casting of Satan into the bottomless pit at the second coming, although he makes absolutely no reference to his release, resulting malevolence or influence on planet earth. But he...
