CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

Brother, I'm very familiar with both scriptures which were one and same event. What both scriptures give us is the big picture~it is true Satan provoked David to number Israel and it is just as true that God moved David (by not preventing David's sin) ~but in what sense can they both be true...

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

Robert, you are not making biblically sense. The truth is this: God first must regenerate a sinner who is dead in tresspasses and sin. Once a man is quickened to life, (born again) from that point forward they have the power to believe the gospel with the new man within them, but not until...

What Is "Predestination"? How Does It Shape Your Daily Life?

Predestination has in every way affected my life, as to where I was born, whom my parents were, my intelligent level, my height, who my wife would be, where I would work, my siblings, etc., etc. I believe this so much, that I have a daughter named Destini, which was born before I came to know...

    Matthew 24

You should be, and would be, if the word of God is the only and final authority concerning truth, as it was with Jesus, and his apostles. One great truth which came out of the reformation movement is that those goldy men stood on Sola Scriptura, history and traditions meant little to those men...

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

Greetings Ronald, my point in mentioning David is this: When it is said that God moved David to number Israel, is that the same as God harden David's spirit? If not, then it is very close. God is not under obligation to soften our hearts toward him and if he left us to ourselves then our...

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

Robert, I agree with almost everything you said here, but one main thing which I highlighted. All that are in Christ are as righteous as he is in their new man which has been created after the image of Jesus Christ. which man cannot sin! Yes, the old man (that is, our flesh) is still with us...

    Scriptures that Refute Calvinism

If so, then why can not you enter into a discussion with me and prove what you are boasting about. Robert, I have given you scriptures, and they mean nothing to you, for if they did, then you would defend them, which, so far, you have not. So do I. So, let's get going.

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

Oh, I see the third option~you truly do not believe the scriptures! I will not even waste my time with folks like you, you do not deserve it. Have a nice life, it will be the only one you get get a little joy out of.

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

Quoting Ezekiel 18 along with Romans 5:18, shown just how incontinence men like you are and how confuse you are! Romans 5:18 should show you that a another sense must be put on Ezekiel 18 than the one you desired to put on those verses! You actually did my work for me~thank you ! You quoted...

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

I have many writings stored on my computer that I have written, that I can copy and paste, some a mixture from my notes over years from others~besides, if it is truth, who cares how one shares it with others. If it wrong then prove it. Calvinism does have some flaws, but much less than...

    Matthew 24

Matthew 24...By D. W. "Red" Baker~continue To get a true biblical understanding of Matthew 24~we search the Bible diligently, comparing scripture with scripture (the correct form in Biblical hermeneutics), we find that in almost all instances it is dealing in some way with God's profess people...

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

Calvinism and Arminianism represent two great camps of “Christendom” that we are outside of in our desire to stick to scripture alone. Historically and doctrinally, we are outside that great religious movement known as the Protestant Reformation, for it is still Roman. Currently, we are...

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

My point is this: maybe he did see, and it was them who were in error, we will never know, since there are no writings that we can compare to the scriptures that he taught. I understand, that no one deserves to die over their understanding, no one. Not even witches, soothsayers, etc.

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

Thank you for your input~I do understand that Michael Servetus' beliefs were similar to mine, in that he believe in the incarnate sonship not that Jesus was eternally begotten~but, what he actually believe we may never know since his works were burned with him. Sorry for the double posts.

Thank you for your input~I do understand that Michael Servetus' understanding was actually very close to mine.

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

I would say, that understanding the complex nature of Jesus Christ is not a prerequisite to being born again. But, one cannot flat our deny his Godhead and be born of God.

CALVINISM: The height of Spiritual depravity

Why do you not take this to another thread and I will come there to discuss this in depth~would love to do so. I will only say this: if any man denies that Jesus was not God manifest in the flesh, then he is not of God.
