There is no biblical evidence that homosexuality is a sin. Not long ago, people justified racism by twisting the bible. That changed. This too will change.

Did ppl never receive grace before the bible was written down? Most ppl in those times were not literate, bible study was restricted to scholars. So all those ppl were damned? We know and love God because our conscience points us in his direction.

No scripture is that important, God isn't contained in a book. Scripture is just a good guide, nothing more. Don't let's create an idol out of it. Conscience is the one and infallible guide. People who value the bible more than conscience are religious fanatics, no different from Islamic...

In case anyone is confused about John, I meant 1 John 1:8 apparently contradicts 1 John 3: 6-9.

A Christian is sinless in the sense that he will never commit sin born of malice. But there are sins born of the weaknesses of flesh ... such sins will continue all through life. This is the reason for the apparent contradiction in John. Discuss.
