New Testament Timeline. Destruction of the Temple in 70 AD

Does it not make sense that all of the Gospels and Epistles with the possible exception of Revelation were penned prior to the destruction of the Temple in 70 AD? I find it hard to believe that if so why did none of the Apostles discuss it Post destruction. We know Peter and Paul were dead prior...

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

You have backed yourself in a corner. It's OK to discover that you have been wrong in your theology. We all grow and learn. It's best to examine yourself and pray. Better to allow the Holy Spirit to guide you on this issue rather than planting your feet in the sand. One of the very reasons I'm...

    Secure Eternal Salvation

Lets not get into perversions again. I'll be up all night posting the highlights of your institution. The CC needs lots of "Fixers". The Catholic Church Pays “Fixers” to Cover Up Sexual Abuse – Now They’re Speaking Out

Traditions can be a large stumbling block.

Can the seal be broken? Lack of trust? Grieve the Holy Spirit?

I've seen that mentioned somewhere before. Good point. I hate that I and others sometimes argue (debate passionately) about baptism. To me it's a important and meaningful ordnance like Communion and something we as Christ followers should do. I just do not agree that it's an (act, behavior...

Can the seal be broken? Lack of trust? Grieve the Holy Spirit?

I agree with your view that we must choose. But, I believe that Acts 2:38 is unique. You are correct that Peter is talking to the Jews. If Paul was standing next to Peter and addressing Gentiles he would not have said anything about being baptized. We know this by the answer he gave in his...

    Secure Eternal Salvation

The problem is, has and always will be that for some denominations Faith is just too simple of a message. God surly needs some help in saving me.. If it was that simple you would not need the priesthood, the rituals, the idols, the institution. Your works are evidence of your salvation not the...

    Secure Eternal Salvation

Professing to be Christ's representative here on earth, confessions. The Catholic Church has changed it positions many times. I think they actually believe in hell now but not positive. A side trip to Purgatory so the Church can contribute to their journey use to be a thing. Not sure what they...

Are you a stumbling block to someone?

There has been some discussions on behavior that could or may be a stumbling block for another Christian, Church member or a lost soul (preventing them from coming to Christ). This issue was taught by the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 8. Paul is specifically addressing the eating of food...

Can the seal be broken? Lack of trust? Grieve the Holy Spirit?

1 Timothy 2:15 But women will be preserved through the bearing of children if they continue in faith and love and sanctity with self-restraint. 1 Timothy 4:1 But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines...

Grace-Haters are incapable of honestly admitting what the (P) in Calvinism really means.

Here in Texas, I have found that Churches that call themselves Bible Churches are strong Calvinists. Maybe just a Houston thing but not sure.

Grace-Haters are incapable of honestly admitting what the (P) in Calvinism really means.

I've come across different forms or depths of Calvinism and they all ask the same question you ask " do you actually know what Calvinism is". I would I think so but I might come across a new version that I'm not aware of. My primary issue is that I do not agree with the foundational definitions...

Grace-Haters are incapable of honestly admitting what the (P) in Calvinism really means.

I think I was predestined not to believe in Calvinism.

Let's discuss Bibles. Schuyler, Humble Lamb

I'm really not following you. My question is in regard to quality and wear. I do not need a passport and I'm not trying to fit in. Every question does not have a cryptic question embedded within it that requires a spiritual message.

    Veridicans and the apostle Paul?

The man (the banned one) fails to understand that tearing out pages from the scriptures that dispute your false teachings are not the only source of our knowledge. Those indwelled with the Holy Spirit have the truth written in our hearts. Foolish to the person without the Holy Spirit.

Grace-Haters are incapable of honestly admitting what the (P) in Calvinism really means.

We all sin. Born Again followers of Christ seek forgiveness. The Holy Spirit convicts us. Willful sinners who teach that any sin they commit has already been forgiven and repentance is not necessary are going to be disappointed.

Please Argue with me about Head Coverings

IMHO cultural norms of the 1st century should not be considered doctrine. I think some things were carried over from the law to the age of grace.

Let's discuss Bibles. Schuyler, Humble Lamb

I've got my eye on a Schuyler Personal Size Quentel NKJV, Black Goatskin. I have a study Bible but this one will be my reading and Sunday go-to-meeting Bible. Does anyone have any experiences with this Bible? Does anyone have a Humble Lamb Shepard Bible? Looks nice.
