    Current COVID-19 Death Rate: 8%

You're numbers aren't accurate. They don't take into account the many who had it and were asymptomatic or those who didn't require hospitalization. When those cases are included the death rate drop drastically.

Jesus didn't take away our sin, only our punishment

    Then why do Christians die?

Was Esau foreordained to be hated by God?

In context the passage is talking about God fulfilling His promises to Abraham. I don't think that God simply decided that He would hate Esau at birth. God didn't choose him to be the vessel through which He would fulfill those promises, He chose Jacob for that purpose. Some of the reasons that...

Regeneration before or after saving faith

    It happens at the Resurrection.

    OSAS beginning ?

This is a typical response when one doesn't have an argument. You threw out a couple of references. You didn't even give verse numbers, just chapters. As if I'm supposed to read your mind and see how you understand a chapter. You referred to things Jesus said, but when you supposedly put them in...

    OSAS beginning ?

You said interpretation, not context. I showed how your interpretation was wrong. Jesus said some believe for a while and fall away. That shows that salvation is conditional.

    OSAS beginning ?

You didn't put them in context. You gave a snippet of what you thought. Putting them in context is explaining what the passage means within the framework of what the writer is saying. So, can you show us how Jesus is teaching that someone who is "saved" cannot be lost. You also, still, have not...

    OSAS beginning ?

All you've done is reiterate your position without addressing the passages that show the conditional side of obtaining eternal life. Jesus made it clear that eternal life begins after death. He also made it clear that there are some who believe for a while and later fall away. Proof texting the...

    OSAS beginning ?

Can explain those passages in context? The Bible isn't a bunch of proof texts. Everything that is written is written within a certain context. If we're just going to pull a sentence here and there we can claim the Bible says just about anything we want. What you didn't post were the conditional...

    OSAS beginning ?

No, It's not wrong. John taught no such thing. People simply misunderstand what John wrote based on preconceptions they bring to the text. We know that John didn't teach it because his disciples didn't teach it. The Early church didn't teach it. They actually argued against it as a heresy. It...

    OSAS beginning ?

No, it hasn't been. It came into the church around the time of Augustine. Prior to that the Church Fathers fought against it. Augustine was a Manichean, a form of Gnosticism, before he became a Christian. He wrote of Fatalism. Fatalism was a doctrine that was held by some Gnostic groups that...

    Is BAPTISM MANDATORY for SALVATION...

Hi OLIGOS, I'm glad to hear you were open to change. I too have gone though a metamorphosis. I was taught a lot of things in churches that turned out to be wrong. This was one of them. I am always searching for the truth. No doctrine is off limits.

    Is BAPTISM MANDATORY for SALVATION...

Because it wasn't necessary for Him to mention baptism to His audience.

    Is BAPTISM MANDATORY for SALVATION...

Actually, it hasn't always been a decisive topic. It's only since the Reformation. Before that no one really questioned the necessity of Baptism. Baptism is necessary for salvation. Jesus makes this clear in Mark. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not...

    Salvation Through Baptism ???

Yes it's necessary, no you're not technically saved without it. Baptism is how one enters the new covenant. Can God make exceptions? Sure. Do we know when and if He will? I don't think so.

    Explain & Apply John 16:13

It depends. He said the spirit would guide them into all truth. He didn't say the spirit would guide all believers into all truth. It's pretty obvious looking at all of the denominations and erroneous teachings among believers that they don't all have all truth

    Explain & Apply John 16:13

He said that to His disciples.

Is the doctrine of Eternal Conscious Torment, biblical or not?

It seems like you're saying no one can have their copy or version of the Bible except the one you use. You have a right to your version and how it's translated but your version isn't the only version and I myself am not going to judge what version a person should use or not use. I don't know...

Is the doctrine of Eternal Conscious Torment, biblical or not?

I don't recall seeing anything in Scripture about memorial tombs. I wasn't implying torture. Unless you can show where these memorial tombs are mentioned I'll have to stick with, all who hear His voice will come out of their graves. I've not seen anything in Scripture that would indicate anyone...

Is the doctrine of Eternal Conscious Torment, biblical or not?

I guess that depends on how they die.
