How is it a terrible thing to fall into the hands of a living God?

Honestly. Don't you think that would be cast out fear of the evil? Just saying. It's a good thing to have a healthy fear of the Almighty. Don't you think?

About the Signs of the Second Coming of Jesus

Not trying to pull you away from here brother. This is a good place. But being a member of several forums, I've gotten more and more blessings from the smaller forums too. I just mentioned it because the ministry I lead, (the Parsons Corner Ministries) builds forums for displaced members who...

How is it a terrible thing to fall into the hands of a living God?

Well, that could be part of it. But not where I was heading. Do you tremble at the Power of the Living God my friend?

So, are Daniel 7:25 and Amos 8:11-12 related in prophecy?

My dear, dear brother. Please don't take what I said as an insult. Forgive me please, that my meaning was misconstrued.

How is it a terrible thing to fall into the hands of a living God?

First, let me tell you that there is no salvation in Mary. She was a very blessed woman, yes. But she needed a Savior just like you and I. And baptism is a whole different story for myself with roots from the ancient Anabaptists. Please, no RCC nonsense in my thread.

Yeah, that may be totally out of context.
  8. The Parson

So, are Daniel 7:25 and Amos 8:11-12 related in prophecy?

And I think it's totally possible that the only ones that may see my point would be those who are totally KJVO sorta brethren.

So, are Daniel 7:25 and Amos 8:11-12 related in prophecy?

So Randy, if there has been no editing of the King James since the early 18th century, why the change?

So, are Daniel 7:25 and Amos 8:11-12 related in prophecy?

Isn't that like mixing a bowl of sweet potatoes with Castor Oil?
  13. The Parson

So, are Daniel 7:25 and Amos 8:11-12 related in prophecy?

That's the problem of the newer versions. People look at even the King James and say "oh, so they changed it here too"... Not so though.

    Once Saved Always Saved

For I know Whom I have believed, and am persuaded that He is able, to keep that which I've delivered unto Him against that day.
  15. The Parson

So, are Daniel 7:25 and Amos 8:11-12 related in prophecy?

Here's some more... We know from the experience and expository preaching of the fundamentalists that the King James has not changed since the 1771 updating of the spelling in the Authoized version. So how would this happen without the editing of human hands? They didn't. So what else...

So, are Daniel 7:25 and Amos 8:11-12 related in prophecy?

Notice this came from John Bunyan himself...

So, are Daniel 7:25 and Amos 8:11-12 related in prophecy?

Outstanding analogy brother. But that's not what the King James Bible says now. You did see those examples in the previous post didn't you? According to the sources of those books, they were King James quotes. However, the King James now says: Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of...
