The Hell Doctrine - No doctrinal unity

Put him on ignore and move on.

The Hell Doctrine - No doctrinal unity

    Agreed. I use it abundantly.

Biden Conspiring with Left in Israel to Overthrow PM Netenyahu

Obama is behind the vitriol toward Israel. He has ALWAYS hated Israel.

Biden Conspiring with Left in Israel to Overthrow PM Netenyahu

That certainly makes sense to me. It also makes sense to me that the anti-Christ himself might be Jewish.

The Hell Doctrine - No doctrinal unity

John 3:16 says that the faithful never die. Besides, there are seemingly countless testimonies from people who claimed to have Heavenly (and Hellish) experiences during NDE'S.

How do you reconcile "the gates of Hell will NOT prevail" with Satan supposedly taking most of mankind to Hell with him?

Thanks. It's my understanding that faithfull Christians are saved from death (straight to Heaven), judgment, condemnation, and a visit to the Lake of Fire. However, although some or many will have to experience those things, in the end, ALL will be saved by Jesus, the good shepherd who doesn't...

The sordid life of Pastor Ted Haggard

Very interesting. I took one look at Ted and knew he wasn't right.

The potential conceit of doctrinal individuality

By the way, welcome to this community. I have that particular poster, along with MANY others, on "ignore". I believe you'll harvest and produce better fruits by shaking the dust and using that feature.

The potential conceit of doctrinal individuality

I think he was referring to his introduction of new ideas such as loving one's enemy, turning the cheek, etc., but he was obviously aware that disunity would develop over doctrinal differences between even his followers.

    Telephone scammers! This is funny.

If you're using a cell phone, you should call your provider and ask them about reducing such calls. Also, there are apps that you can download to help. One app uses artificial intelligence and actually engages the scammers in conversation which you can then listen to later for a laugh!

    Telephone scammers! This is funny.

That guy is doing God's work and he is HILARIOUS! He oftentimes pretends to be a compliant, well-intentioned, little old lady who is trying to comply with the scammer's demand for payment and then, just when it looks like she is about to transfer to them a massive amount of money, she makes...

How do you reconcile "the gates of Hell will NOT prevail" with Satan supposedly taking most of mankind to Hell with him?

I was obviously being rhetorical to demonstrate the absurdity of YOUR belief that God is an unforgiving Sadist. In any event, you obviously disagree that Jesus's statement that the gates of Hell will not prevail. You believe that Satan is greater than God. You view God as an incapable, inept...

The potential conceit of doctrinal individuality

As Jesus said, he came to bring division, not unity. Even his followers squabble amongst themselves because they lack all the facts. What's the lesson? Without God we are lost.

The potential conceit of doctrinal individuality

That was exactly my approach after leaving the Catholic Church 8 years ago.

The Hell Doctrine - No doctrinal unity

I guess I'm not following you when you say "return to the grave". We must die once. The faithful in Christ immediately go to God.

The Hell Doctrine - No doctrinal unity

This is actually what I was questioning. What is the Biblical support for this doctrine, please?

The Hell Doctrine - No doctrinal unity

I don't believe that verse or that chapter is discussing the "outer darkness" discussed in Revelation. It's also for the age, not forever. As well, Ecclesiastes then goes on to say (YLT): 6 Their love also, their hatred also, their envy also, hath already perished, and they have no more a...

How Does the Church today, differ from the world?

Who on Earth is in perfect conformity with God?
