    We are told to obey Jesus's commandments. Nobody can do so all of the time. I agree that we at least must be trying to avoid sinning. Do you believe that Jesus shows mercy to remorseful sinners?

    I enjoy discussing doctrine. The problem is that many cannot do so without getting angry. When I'm with other Christians and I stick to the basics, love God, love one another, and try to live a Godly life. Anything beyond that risks negative feedback from others.

    I was assured that those in the Lake of Fire remain there forever. Obviously, they lack understanding and discernment.
