THE APOSTLES DID NOT ALL PREACH THE SAME GOSPEL

The dispensation of the eunuch is the same as ours: after the death of Christ. And was the eunuch a Jew that Philip's words and instructions applied to him and not to us?

THE APOSTLES DID NOT ALL PREACH THE SAME GOSPEL

No, because there is more information contained elsewhere that can't be ignored. No, because there is other information contained elsewhere in the NT scriptures that can't be ignored, that supplements and clarifies the 4 gospels which were a record of events of Christ's life, work, etc...

THE APOSTLES DID NOT ALL PREACH THE SAME GOSPEL

Once again it's not me saying anything but what the bible is saying. And what you have to believe is the gospel. Belief that Jesus is the Christ and thru him and him only can you have everlasting life as he is tge propitiation for sins and by whom your sins can be forgiven by 1. belief and faith...

THE APOSTLES DID NOT ALL PREACH THE SAME GOSPEL

I'm not saying that, the bible is. I'm simply reiterating what God's word clearly says. In Jesus own words below for instance. Ir can't get any simpler or clearer. Mk 16:15-16 15And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16He that believeth and is...

THE APOSTLES DID NOT ALL PREACH THE SAME GOSPEL

Without a doubt baptism is an absolute requirement of salvation. Numerous scriptures bear that fact out.

THE APOSTLES DID NOT ALL PREACH THE SAME GOSPEL

You need to only look at 2 conversions in the book of Acts to get the complete context of requirements which embodies the entirety of the gospel message: the conversion of the Ethiopian eunuch in Acts 8, and the conversion of the Jews on the day of Pentecost in Acts 2. In both instances they...

THE APOSTLES DID NOT ALL PREACH THE SAME GOSPEL

There is only one gospel of salvation and can't be any more or less. The gospel IS the gospel which is (or should be but unfortunatelyi isn't) the same today as it was back then that the apostles universally preached.

Doctrine doesn’t matter as much as love

Hate is not doctrine. It can be the result of doctrine either true or false, but it is not necessarily the doctrine. If the doctrine is not made public, who is it harming? It's not until it's made known that or becomes potentially harmful or promoting hatred, overtly or covertly. Goodbye. This...

Doctrine doesn’t matter as much as love

That's not quite what you said or how you phrased it. And true doctrine will also or could also cause hatred, since some of those hearing the true doctrine may hate the one propagating it. Happened to Jesus. He also warned of such hatred as coming from those of your own household.

Doctrine doesn’t matter as much as love

I really don't care what you believe; belueve whst you like. And God uses his people to do his work. 1 Tim 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: it's up to God's people to do his work...

Doctrine doesn’t matter as much as love

I would say, speak for yourself, but don't assume others think as you do. And, the spirit of Christ won't be residing in you if you believed and followed a false doctrine wherein it didn't lead you ti your salvation in the first place. Wake up!

Doctrine doesn’t matter as much as love

In search of truth should be the question. Bad or false doctrine doesn't necessarily mean you hate those who propagate it. That's why I participate on these forums; to correct those or convince those by scripture, of their false narrative or doctrine. If false doctrine leads to loss of souls...

Doctrine doesn’t matter as much as love

Having love or being a loving individual won't save your soul, nor will false doctrine which will lead you astray

    Why trust the "Early Fathers?"

The gifts of the Spirit filled a void at that time which we don't have now because of the written word, whereas back then, they were pretty much devoid of the written word which was a work in process. Nothing hard to understand the logic in the gifts then being needed but not now.

    Why trust the "Early Fathers?"

1st of all, the various NT writings were circulated. And, that's the reason for the miraculous manifestation of the Spirit in the early church days, which provided prophesy, knowledge, etc and became manifest by the laying on of the apostle's hands. Documents such as you mentioned, like the did...

    Why trust the "Early Fathers?"

It's inferred by warnings to the contrary in both the OT and NT. Deuteronemy 4:2, 12:32, Revelation 22:19, Galatians 1:6-9, Proverbs 30:5-6

WHAT DOES CHRISTMAS MEAN TO YOU?

I don't know what you're point is other than condemnation of using God's word, the bible, which i do, as opposed to using other man-made, unscriptural, documents, which are over and above God's word and not to be used as supplemental to God's word. There are sufficient warnings in both the OT...

WHAT DOES CHRISTMAS MEAN TO YOU?

I celebrate Xmas as a family holiday no different than any other holiday like 4th of July, labor day, Easter (also not a religious holiday). But there are no religious holidays that were celebrated in the New Testament; the only day revered is Sunday, the 1st day of every week, which is to...

Did ANYONE In Scripture (Including Jesus), Claim Jesus IS God?

Hebrews 1:8 King James Version 8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom
