    Christ Died for All

What is the real issue here? But what is written where and to whom? But what do YOU mean by your use of the word, 'Word'? Does he? God's expressed thoughts given to humans for humans go far beyond what was written down. The scriptures are extremely limited in it's scope and volume. It is...

    Christ Died for All

Yet Paul did this himself. He went beyond what was written in the Scriptures. He encouraged the Jews to let the Gentiles go beyond the scriptures (the law) be circumcised. This is my covenant with you and your descendants after you, the covenant you are to keep: Every male among you shall be...

    Christ Died for All

Yes, i think Yes, I think I see what you're saying. Yet as someone said recently, is the scriptures exhaustive in relation to God's words to us? Some have said that the bibles contain everything God wants us to know in this life. But when challenged on this conclusion or statement they...

Limited atonement is a false gospel

It certainly was God's plan for A & E to eat of the tree of the knowledge of G & E once they carried out God's mandate to fill the earth and have dominion over the animals. Or was it? Or was the opportunity to disobey God's original command going to stand forever? Like saying to a child...

    Christ Died for All

these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another. My question is, whose writtings was Paul refering to, 'which is...

    Christ Died for All

Who said this? Who said anything new God speaks is demonic? Who said it will lead people astray from the Lord? I would challenge you on your statement. Because Jesus or Paul didn't say these words. You have gone beyond what is written. According to your interpretation of what Paul wrote.

    Christ Died for All

Who said that? Paul didn't What was Paul refering to when he said above that which is written? Obviously not the bible as there was no biblical canon when he wrote this. So anything that was written beyond or after what Paul had already written to this point in time is beyond what is written...

Limited atonement is a false gospel

My door is open to release whatever the Spirit is communicating to others. I'm not interested in what my enemy has to say. As Jesus said, His sheep don't listen to strangers, we run from them.

Limited atonement is a false gospel

Yes, God and His creation working together to bring about God's desired outcome. His glory. His pleasure.

Limited atonement is a false gospel

D Do you mean like in the case of Nineveh when God was going to kill them all, but showed mercy when they eventually repented?

Limited atonement is a false gospel

Just to clarify, I was refering to Moses and Joshua. God told Joshua, kill all the inhabitants of Jericho. 40 years earlier, God wrote down, do not kill. BTW, if you were Caleb, which one would you obey? It is spoken or it is written?

When did God tell you this? John didn't. Why do you need the specific quote 'a thousand years' to mean something else? Is it to try to fit some other agenda or doctrine?

Limited atonement is a false gospel

God has never altered His plan? Has He never said one thing then said something different later. God Himself doesn't change, but He does alter what He wants us to do. Did God command His people, Do not kill. Then command the same people, go kill everyone, men, women and children?

Limited atonement is a false gospel

Not a liar but adaptable to a given situation. When someone is being trained as a paramedic they are told early in their training to obey the road rules. One important rule, 'do not speed'. If they disobey they will lose their job. Later in their training they are told to 'speed'. If they...

    Christ Died for All

Question: did God send His Messiah, Lamb, Shepherd, Son in those forms or identities? Or did God's Son Jesus only become a son when He was conceived in Mary by God's Spirit. Then and only from that time was unto a child born and Son was given? Was Jesus already a Son of God/Son of Man in heaven?

    Christ Died for All

Thanks for sharing your insights and asking good challenging questions. I have had to stop and seek the Spirit about your understanding and I'm waiting for His response. I did explore God's sovereignty and how He exercises it. And foreknowledge. And whether He created a script then acted on...

Limited atonement is a false gospel

They were directed by God to not only kill servants of Satan but God's people. Achan and all his family, adults and children. To stone His people to death. God could've easily saved all those fathers, sons, brothers, uncles, nephews from being kill by the people of Ai.

Limited atonement is a false gospel

Not at all. Joshua obeyed God. But if Caleb refused to obey God's spoken command through Joshua then Caleb would have disobeyed God. But Caleb was only obeying God's written command. It is written.... do not kill. Written word of God vs spoken word of God.

Who said it's God's canon. Where in any canon does it say of itself or God Himself say, this is My canon? Nowhere! of course we can trust in God and His expressed thoughts, His truth. The massive difference is the assumption that what was written down and found its way into the various canons...
