"Is excessive interpretation the root cause of differences in understanding and doctrinal divisions in the Bible?"

And Who's will does the Spirit of the Father carry out? It's pretty simple. The Father does as He desires as He has the freedom to choose to do good or evil. Of course He doesn't have to justify what He chooses to do. There is no one of higher or greater authority than Him who can judge Him...

So you don't pray according to this suggested prayer? Which is fine. Yet Jesus was refering to His Father, the Creator of us all when saying pray, Our Father ..... lead us not I to temptation. Jesus, from experience, knew He does, as He did lead Him into the wilderness to be tempted by Satan.

"Is excessive interpretation the root cause of differences in understanding and doctrinal divisions in the Bible?"

Sorry, I'm not sure I'm following your train of thought. The first disciples of Jesus were illiterate as most common people were in His day. They had Him teaching them orally, directly. No need for correct structured sentences. Then for the following 1500 years there was no correct...

"Is excessive interpretation the root cause of differences in understanding and doctrinal divisions in the Bible?"

U Jesus's encouraged His first disciples to pray, Our Father in heaven.... lead us not into temptation. Maybe you should also. As He may do that with you as He did with Jesus.

I can't find your words, unity in the essentials in the above quotes

Out of interest, who told you this? If from the bible, can you quote it for us. Thanks

"Is excessive interpretation the root cause of differences in understanding and doctrinal divisions in the Bible?"

I am refering to the Living Christ Head in heaven communicating with Christ the Living Body part on earth. He is the current Teacher Who teaches the Church live, as well as through 2000 year old replays. He's been using His body parts constantly over the past 2000 years right up to today.

"Is excessive interpretation the root cause of differences in understanding and doctrinal divisions in the Bible?"

S So how do we get to know all what Jesus taught when He was on earth that was not recorded in the bibles? Is it lost forever or until we see Him in Person? Or is there another way?

I I think we were quoting from the same book, but at the same time, a different book. 1. Bible 2. Matthew and Luke

"Is excessive interpretation the root cause of differences in understanding and doctrinal divisions in the Bible?"

I think in 1551, a Parisian printer named Robert Stephanus published a Greek and Latin edition of the New Testament in which each chapter was divided into separate verses. These are the verse divisions still in use today. They first appeared in an English translation in the 1560 Geneva Version".

"Is excessive interpretation the root cause of differences in understanding and doctrinal divisions in the Bible?"

Some of what Jesus taught and did 2000 years ago was documented. Most never were of course. This is the disciple who testifies to these things and who wrote them down. We know that his testimony is true. Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose...

"Is excessive interpretation the root cause of differences in understanding and doctrinal divisions in the Bible?"

⁴ You totally lost me here. My simple question was about the last statement. Unity in the Essentials. Did you read this in the bible or receive this directly from the Holy Spirit. I've heard this quoted before but out of interest, where is its origin in the bible?

"Is excessive interpretation the root cause of differences in understanding and doctrinal divisions in the Bible?"

My salvation is found in the Person, the Word of God. His name is Jesus Christ. The Truth is found in a Person, Jesus the Christ Who is given to us by His Spirit. the teachings for the church are found in its Head, Gis name is Jesus Christ. Jesus is found in heaven with His Father...

"Is excessive interpretation the root cause of differences in understanding and doctrinal divisions in the Bible?"

I'm all for loving God's word, every word that comes from His mouth whether they be found coming through a human speaking, prophesying, speaking in a tongue and interpreting so I can understand, a vision, dream, their writings, a burning bush, donkey, the sky or any other means. God's...

Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. Matthew 4:1 This was Matthew words. Was he a liar? Your call.

"Is excessive interpretation the root cause of differences in understanding and doctrinal divisions in the Bible?"

Who said it's all we need? I've never been told that by the Spirit. And none of those who contributed to the bibles wrote that. Not that I'm aware of. Maybe you can enlighten us with their quote or when the Spirit gave you this direct revelation.

I havent added or taken anything away. Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. NKJV Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. KJV Anyway, verses were added to the bibles by humans in the 16th century I believe.

"Is excessive interpretation the root cause of differences in understanding and doctrinal divisions in the Bible?"

I I don't doubt God can preserve His Word, every word that comes from His mouth that we are to live by. And most of these words are not contained in the 80 or 66 books of the bibles of course.

H Were these humans being carried along by the Spirit as they rightly divided the word of truth, as some refer to it?
