Are Mormons Christians? (Latter Day Saints)

Quoting does not equate to understanding. Even Satan can scripture- doesn't mean he's right. You got things wrong. Our choices are here just 2: 1) You can listen while I explain what I believe and we can talk about my relationship with Christ. Yes, my relationship with Christ. 2)...

Are Mormons Christians? (Latter Day Saints)

I’m going to be VERY direct here: I’ve been very straight foward about my beliefs, especially my relationship with Christ, the Son of God. You have repeatedly point blank ignored me on this matters and just keep beating the “cult” drum based on bad info and false accusations. Are you remotely...

Are Mormons Christians? (Latter Day Saints)

LDS Christians like myself believe that God still speaks to the world, just like He did in ancient times. There's still living prophets preaching His words, and He can still give revelation/scripture. The "Book of Mormon" is one such example.

Are Mormons Christians? (Latter Day Saints)

Once again, if you want to think that, you can. If you want to believe all of these incorrect things about what I believe, you can do that. Doesn't phase me one bit- I know what I believe and my relationship with Christ. Have a nice day.

Are Mormons Christians? (Latter Day Saints)

Yep, because the Bible just clearly states "And to enter the Pearly Gates you must believe that God's words are confined to these books of the Protestant Bible and then He shut up! Your salvation depends on you professing this!". <end sarcasm>. Obviously the Bible doesn't say that. And...

Are Mormons Christians? (Latter Day Saints)

I do thank you for your civility. It is extremely appreciated. Also 100% agreed on Jesus doesn’t change. One of the actual differences between Protestants and LDS Christians is that Protestants have a closed canon (no more scripture or similar revelation) vs LDS Christians believe in open...

Are Mormons Christians? (Latter Day Saints)

Rather: instead of actually talking about Christ with someone, you're posting a YT example of a Christian getting his facts wrong about what other people believe and then using that false information to deny other folks love of Christ. I'm sorry, but I got zero patience for such sinful...

Are Mormons Christians? (Latter Day Saints)

Just to be clear: I never said that you follow theologians or man. Rather, I happily acknowledge you love of Jesus & the Bible, and giving your self to follow Him. I totally believe that the Bible is the scripture, the word of God. But I don't believe that God's words are limited just to the...

Are Mormons Christians? (Latter Day Saints)

You got things partially correct, partially not. If you ant to deny my relationship with Christ and faith in Him, you can believe that / do whatever you do. Doesn't phase me one bit.

Are Mormons Christians? (Latter Day Saints)

The definition of "Protestant" is not "not Catholic" or "not pope pope followers". With all possible respect, if you want to argue with Wrangler about gay marraiage and abortion, that has nothing to do with this "Are Mormons Christians" thread. It would be better all around to have the gay...

Are Mormons Christians? (Latter Day Saints)

I also noticed how you completely refused to answer my question. IF you choose to deny my faith in Christ and standing as a Christian, heck you can believe whatever you want. I passionately disagree with that assessment, obviously.

Are Mormons Christians? (Latter Day Saints)

God the Father is the Father of ALL. Yes or no. Do you deny that? Cause I don't- He's the Father of all. Which only by technicality makes everyone siblings. And yes, this is a theology test. "Anti-cultist" theology is all about man ignoring Christ to instead invent gatekeeping theology...

Are Mormons Christians? (Latter Day Saints)

LDS Christians aren't Protestants, don't perform gay marriages, and done Condon abortion. This argument of yours is very off topic.

Are Mormons Christians? (Latter Day Saints)

I 100% believe that Jesus Christ is the divine Son of God-- He is God. One with the Father, and Holy Spirit/Ghost, whom are all 3 different people. They are 1 via unity- that same 1 goodness, glory, mercy, will etc. Points of disagreement come with the post-Biblical Creeds, such as the...

Are Mormons Christians? (Latter Day Saints)

^ This has a lot of inaccuracies. I'll stated things better: I belie that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that through His amazing grace & atonement, my sins can be made clean. From scarlet to pure white clean-- 100%, not 99.99999999%. Christ suffered and die so that I (and everyone...

Are Mormons Christians? (Latter Day Saints)

Hey @Super Kal I consider you to be a fellow Christian because we both believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, Savior of the world. I know that I gave my entire self to Him- He is my King and my rock. He pulled me out of the darkness when this world's terribleness made we wish for...

I’ll take that as you not being interested in getting things clarified - actual LDS Christian here, and I’m very familiar with these misunderstandings. I totally respect your choice there, have a nice day.

These accusations are not accurate, if you care. If not, have a nice day.

Are Mormons Christians? (Latter Day Saints)

And I believe every single word of the Bible. Man is saved via faith in Christ. Not via their ability to ace an imagery theology test sitting at the Silvery Gates.
