I am speaking that, as the person who's actually read & studied both the Bible and Book of Mormon, that I find the ultimate witness/validator of both is God Himself.

I know this will fall on deaf ears: but for me, As the person who’s actually thoroughly read and studied both, I find that the validation for both comes from the same place: God Himself.

Just putting this out there: it is faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, that saves a person. That faith is the tree that bears the Good fruit. The Bible and knowledge are super great things that can & should fertilize that tree of faith. But it's faith alone that saves.

The idea that my mom isn't going to be my mom in the afterlife. That is not rational.

Yes, I have looked into these claims thoroughly and come to the conclusion "not Satanic". Same with the "only for the initiated" claims, Mayan temples, Masonry, "deep" stuff etc. Those are the results of my thorough research. If you want to just claim it's all Satanic, you can believe that...

Going to point out: a JW (or whomever) showing up at your door doesn't necessarily equate to God saying "join the JW" (or whomever). I would be EXTREMELY careful before making any such conclusions, and get multiple confirmations for yourself.

Please don’t assume that “Mormons” don’t read the Bible. I first read it cover to cover at age 9. National studied (e.g. Pew) has shown that on average “Mormons” read the Bible more and can more correctly answer facts about it than folks of other denominations.

I am a Mormon. Other folks in my congregation are also people-- each has a name, life, active faith in God, etc. Don't try to de-humanize me or anyone else with "the organization".
