Is there a difference in " FALSE " teaching & error in teaching ?

You are on the right track David, except you used a version that chose not to include His name, what name did He give Moses that would be His name forever sir?

Since the earth abideth forever RW Ecc 1:4, what is the new earth? Were you aware the new heavens prophecy has already been fulfilled?

    God's Friend.

Is anyone other than Abraham called God's friend in the Bible?

Did Abraham worship Idols before he left UR

You are quite correct Jay, Abraham's father Terah not Abraham served other gods. Abraham served the true God Jehovah. I salute you for researching the truth for yourself sir. Just like the world we live in today, Ur was full of false gods whom the people worshipped. I think he was the only one...

No sir, not in the habit of promoting a teaching that is not taught in the Bible Jay. I kinda hope you are correct though, but I don't think it is very likely.

    The Four Sayings of Eve

The problem is, she didn't have inherited sin. Jesus' ransom covered those, but Eve was already perfect. When we attain perfection and are given eternal life, if we choose to sin like her, there will be no ransom for us either.

What do you think about the renewing chapters of R21-22?

I think the Bible was completed in the first century Matt. Of course as language evolves, updates must happen. Those updates however need to keep the original understanding.

I thought he was a cartoon character, oh well, shows you what I know sir.

    Born of water

I assume you are referring to Jesus Chris, he is a spirit being who resides in heaven. Perhaps you are unaware of God's purpose for the earth, it has not changed sir, most who are given the gift of eternal life will reside on the earth. Ps 37:29; Rev 21:3,4

Jesus Versus the Bible - Who will win?

The Bible is a very unique Book for sure. The actual theme of the Bible is: The vindication of Jehovah's sovereignty and the fulfillment of His purpose for the earth by means of His Kingdom under Christ, the promised offspring. It contains both history and future events. One thing I have...

Jesus Versus the Bible - Who will win?

I was using God's word as being the Bible Thinkr. Jesus was called the Word because he is God's spokesman. God has taken judicial action in times past according to the Bible, and is going to do it again in our near future. So that either makes Him loving and just or exactly the opposite, time...

Is Jesus suggesting we can forgive the sins of man too?

Very good post Episkopos. One has to admit though, it is not always easy.

Is Jesus suggesting we can forgive the sins of man too?

We had better! Forgiveness is one of the treasures we can store up in heaven Matthew. Jesus included it in his model prayer, that our forgiveness is a requirement for being forgiven.

Why does Jesus say “i have come ‘not’ those who think they are righteous but those who know they are sinners?

I think the Psalmist hit it on the head when he said people are righteous in their own eyes, humble ones who know they are sinners, are teachable, self righteous individuals are many times not. Jesus used children as an example of those inheriting the Kingdom, as they like to please their...

Jesus Versus the Bible - Who will win?

I gather you do not believe the Bible is God's word, or that Jesus is not God's son. The only thing I can say is, to stay tuned, because time will give us the answer for sure.

Is there a difference in " FALSE " teaching & error in teaching ?

Very true, one of the many. That is why it is important to know who the God is that the Word was with.

It is true they choose either to accept or reject the gospel, but of course God chooses those in whom He will anoint for that special privilege. Most who receive eternal life will not be going to heaven sir.

Is there a difference in " FALSE " teaching & error in teaching ?

A false teaching is simply that, whether by error or deliberately done, of course deliberately misrepresenting God's word would be a heavy sin in God's eyes I would imagine. Keep in mind no one has absolute truth, so all faiths will have some erroneous teachings. God reveals His word progressively.

We cannot choose to go to heaven, God chooses those whom He chooses to anoint.
