The elect in Matthew have to be Jews and not the church the body of Christ since the body of Christ wasnt formed til mid acts upon Paul's conversion The gathering Paul speaks of being a mystery and cant be in prophecy in Matthew

Thats right the wicked will be destroyed when Christ returns......he will destroy those who waged war against him......the believing remnant will enter the kingdom but the wicked will be supper for the fowl

Jesus was saying as in the days of Noah they were unaware.......the wicked were not taken they were left to be judged,,,,Noah and family were saved

But our gathering together is a mystery hidden so how could it be in prophecy in Matthew?

Actually Jesus was saying the kingdom was at hand .....the tribulation in which they had to endure til the end was therefore at hand as well..........the tribulation precedes the kingdom to separate believing Israel from unbelievers

Yes the believing remnant of Israel will be priests and a holy nation......Gentiles can believe according to Acts 10 and be in the remnant.....but I dont know what role believing Gentiles will have in the kingdom No they wont reign with Christ in heaven (the body of Christ will) they will reign...

Some say the strangers are Gentiles but I say Peter is writing to the believing remnant of Israel which could include Gentiles who believed the preaching of Peter.....he is not writing to the church the body of Christ
