Is it possible to be SCRIPTURALLY CORRECT AND NOT BE SPIRITUALLY CORRECT?

No - Those who speak against God and His Word, are indeed "troublemakers"--against God.

Is it possible to be SCRIPTURALLY CORRECT AND NOT BE SPIRITUALLY CORRECT?

Yes, perhaps a hundred posts of--more importantly--what God said.

Is it possible to be SCRIPTURALLY CORRECT AND NOT BE SPIRITUALLY CORRECT?

Your skill and cunning in an attempt to circle back to an unbiblical explanation multiple times, is not you being "respectful." At best, it shows you to be what God describes as "stiffnecked" or "stubborn." None of which covers up the fact that Jesus sent Paul, the Holy Spirit Spoke through...

One thing I strongly oppose Trump on

The facts are there and plenty, but intentionally obscured within misinformation and ridiculous conspiracy theories, a tactic common to covert propaganda wars. Which both side are regularly putting out. Unfortunately, the bad guys have had control of mainstream media. Thus, research produces...

Is it possible to be SCRIPTURALLY CORRECT AND NOT BE SPIRITUALLY CORRECT?

More comprehension errors: I have not been having a discussion of agreement or disagreement with you, but "correcting", "teaching" and "warning" you.

Is it possible to be SCRIPTURALLY CORRECT AND NOT BE SPIRITUALLY CORRECT?

Yes, all because you believe Paul---speaking by the Holy Spirit sent by Jesus, just as He promised--misspoke. And now that you understand and admit what you have done against my warning--I need not say anything more, but leave the matter in God's hands. Oh, if you had only listened!

Is it possible to be SCRIPTURALLY CORRECT AND NOT BE SPIRITUALLY CORRECT?

Maybe I have been wrong about you. Based on your response to my very simple explanation, surely it is your ability to comprehend that is lacking. Sorry if I have caused you stress.

Is it possible to be SCRIPTURALLY CORRECT AND NOT BE SPIRITUALLY CORRECT?

You are being foolish. Believing God's Word is to acknowledge Him as God, not another.

Is it possible to be SCRIPTURALLY CORRECT AND NOT BE SPIRITUALLY CORRECT?

Apparently, only in part. And therefore, as it is written (as Jesus said) "with the same measure you use, it will be measured to you" (Mark 4:24). In other words, if you only believe part, you will only receive part. Which explains a lot. You should read the whole passage yourself.

Is it possible to be SCRIPTURALLY CORRECT AND NOT BE SPIRITUALLY CORRECT?

Yes, but that a bit hard to follow for most, I should think. A simpler starting point to understand the many parables involving men and women, is to learn from the Bride and Bridegroom analogy, showing that God refers to himself as male and to people as female--that just as Eve was taken out...

Is it possible to be SCRIPTURALLY CORRECT AND NOT BE SPIRITUALLY CORRECT?

The only way you could or could not give them authority, is if you were God. Are you God (rhetorical)?

Is it possible to be SCRIPTURALLY CORRECT AND NOT BE SPIRITUALLY CORRECT?

Perhaps I am not being clear enough. I was referring rather to the fact that when Israel's most learned men were in the hot seat--their studies and assumed knowledge failed them. And now the Church is in the hot seat assuming they too are without error.

One thing I strongly oppose Trump on

Indeed, it has been their intention to elude the masses...at which they have mostly been successful.
  14. ScottA

Is it possible to be SCRIPTURALLY CORRECT AND NOT BE SPIRITUALLY CORRECT?

No not passe, never out of date. But being first, is to be understood as elementary: As God who is spirit and who's words are higher, we who go to Him must advance from this lower physical plain...or of our own freewill stop short of the fullness of His invitation to our own peril.

Is it possible to be SCRIPTURALLY CORRECT AND NOT BE SPIRITUALLY CORRECT?

The reason I ask however, is to specifically address the likely repeat among Gentile church, that first occurred among Israel unbeknownst to the Priests and Pharisees of Jesus' first advent who failed to put the pieces of scripture and prophecy together. Do you see any comparisons?

Is it possible to be SCRIPTURALLY CORRECT AND NOT BE SPIRITUALLY CORRECT?

The Law was given as, and practiced by Israel, as part of the light unto the gentiles: which was given as a living parable made manifest, that all people would come to know the revelations of God. In the case of circumcision, it was/is a parable showing the reality and need of removing and...

Are the words given by the Seven Thunders still sealed?

Sorry, I know it is easy to assume we are all speculating. But I was not.
  18. ScottA

Is it possible to be SCRIPTURALLY CORRECT AND NOT BE SPIRITUALLY CORRECT?

Applying that type of expectation to now, how would you describe the likely error of expectation of the church?
  19. ScottA

Are the words given by the Seven Thunders still sealed?

The seven thunders were/are not evil or prophetic, but speak of the tribulations of the ages, and the finish of the mystery of God revealed just before the end, the shaking of foundations. In Jesus' words, "there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

1ST PETER WAS WRITTEN TO ISRAEL

As a light unto the gentiles much of the scriptures written to Israel are applicable to all. But the key word in Peter's writings [was] "now" indicating that he spoke to [that] generation and those still alive, that they too should remain faithful to their calling as a light unto the gentiles.
