    Understanding The Beast Kingdom

But how can the beast be a kingdom when it says the beast and false prophet will be thrown "alive" into the lake of fire at Christs second coming?

    The Christian Theocracy

When Jesus returns the entire world will become a theocracy with Jesus at the head of it all. For the very first time in human history, we will finally get a government that is not tainted with evil. @Hidden In Him check your private messages.

When Jesus said, “there is none good but one, that is, God.” did He mean nobody could be good?

Contentiousness for it's own sake, is the mark of babes in Christ.

    Free will and robots

I'm sure you've all heard it before. That free will is the reason that our Love to God has any power at all. God didn't create us, the elect, as robots, to Love Him. That would not be Love at all. Love is a free will choice, for Him, and this is the very reason He gave us free will in the first...

    Soul Sleep yes or no?

@The Learner hi there. My apologies. I'm not entirely sure how those verses relate to what I said. Care to elaborate?

Christians are sinners, but not of the devil

I don't think they could even if they wanted to. We can tell from scripture that the fallen Angels are all doomed. It wouldn't make sense that good angels would have the ability to change sides now if the evil ones cannot also. The alternative to OSAS isn't much prettier. It posits God as...

Christians are sinners, but not of the devil

There was a time when they made their decision. But now they are locked in to their decision and destiny. Angel's who sided with God cannot lose their salvation now. His justice is fulfilled in Christ. Not us.

Christians are sinners, but not of the devil

Romans 8:37-39 states that there is nothing in all of creation that can separate us from God's agape love. That would include us ourselves. To quote John MacArthur, "If we could lose our salvation, we would."

Christians are sinners, but not of the devil

It was kept to a point, albeit imperfectly. The OT was a schoolmaster to bring us to the revealed Christ. Hebrews 10:4 Hebrews 10:11

Christians are sinners, but not of the devil

We are in an imperfect body tainted by sin. If we have evil thoughts pop into our heads, those thoughts defile us on some level. That's kind of the point, that it is impossible. And yes, sins of omission is a scriptural doctrine, as per James 4:17 "If anyone, then, knows the good they ought...

Christians are sinners, but not of the devil

Okay, so you personally are not guilty of thought-sin? You have no sins of omission? You are 100% in tune with what the Spirit of God demands of you all of the time?

Christians are sinners, but not of the devil

Paul was talking about his life even after his conversion. He evidently still believed he was a sinner. Are you guys better than Paul?

Christians are sinners, but not of the devil

Paul, Lot, David, John the Baptist all considered themselves sinners and vile. Are you greater than they?

Christians are sinners, but not of the devil

You didn't answer my question. Is Paul going to hell for not being sinlessly perfect? Is Paul in hell right now? Was Paul sinlessly perfect in word thought and deed?

Christians are sinners, but not of the devil

Even the Apostle Paul admitted he was a sinner. My question to everyone in this thread who thinks they don't sin anymore: Is Paul going to hell?

    Study of Pride - Humbleness

Sinful pride is an arrogant, haughty, preeminent, insolent, self-reliant, attitude that causes a person to have an inflated, aggrandized view of oneself, one's privileges, accomplishments, and endowments. Matured Pride is the anti-God state of mind, for it thinks it can self sustain without God...

    Study of Pride - Humbleness

Pride is pleasure arising from a man thinking too highly of himself.
