One reason why the rapture can not be post-trib

Didn't you read the OP arguments about the pre-trib rapture aside, there is one big reason why the rapture can not be post-trib.

One reason why the rapture can not be post-trib

Are you unable to post the scriptures and not just the references?

Copy and paste the scriptures unless you're afraid they don't apply.

One reason why the rapture can not be post-trib

She gave birth to a son, a male child, who “will rule all the nations with an iron scepter.” And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne. Revelation 12:5 NIV I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been...

One reason why the rapture can not be post-trib

amillennialism is a false doctrine and it is clearly so because it causes people to believe differently than what scripture says plainly. If it has some grand explanation that the scripture doesn't imply, chances are it's a false doctrine.

One reason why the rapture can not be post-trib

But isn't this a description of Christ coming to earth and judging? “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates...

One reason why the rapture can not be post-trib

Then why does it say this? “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. Matthew 25:31 NIV

Then where do they go? Scripture says otherwise: “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.” Matthew 25:41‭, ‬46 NIV

One reason why the rapture can not be post-trib

The second coming is described along with the sheep and the goats judgement: “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd...

I suspect that the "Great White Throne Judgment" as described in Revelation is only imagery rather than an event

Actually, the burden of proof is on you to show scripture to back up your claim that the lake of fire is a temporary cleansing. But I'll indulge you anyway: And if your eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes...

One reason why the rapture can not be post-trib

I wasn't implying that it is the GWT judgement. I was pointing out that the sheep and goat seperation judgement goes with the second coming proving my point that only one of those two groups enter the 1,000 year kingdom.

I suspect that the "Great White Throne Judgment" as described in Revelation is only imagery rather than an event

It's stated too plainly in scripture to ignore, let alone assert that it's not eternal but a cleansing period which is not implied in scripture at all.

I suspect that the "Great White Throne Judgment" as described in Revelation is only imagery rather than an event

I wasn't speaking about you personally. You said that decent people go to heaven by default, but scripture says otherwise through and through

I suspect that the "Great White Throne Judgment" as described in Revelation is only imagery rather than an event

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. There is no one righteous. Not even one. Our righteousness is as filthy rags. You need to trust in Christ and his blood atonement for sin in order to be saved.

I suspect that the "Great White Throne Judgment" as described in Revelation is only imagery rather than an event

That just doesn't make sense from a conjectural statistical perspective. Most people don't identify with being Christian, under 10%
