    Holiness vs Righteousness

I Agree this is where the distinction was lost when the reformation threw out the distinction between the faithful and the saints calling all believers saints. As a result the protestant churches schismed between Holiness and free grace movements into the denominational mess it is now. If you...

    Holiness vs Righteousness

Exactly... You see it, appreciate its beauty, but can't put it into words.

    Holiness vs Righteousness

When the Holy Ghost reveals something to you, you can't process the truth of it fully but you see the beauty of it. There have been times where He has shown me a truth, I have tried to present that truth to people but cannot fully defend the truth to them.... not until he teaches the intricacies...

    Holiness vs Righteousness

This is exactly what The Holy Ghost has been showing me regarding Holiness and saintliness which is manifested in Agape Love in the believer. Of the list of Qualities a believer is to add to their faith Agape Love is the last on the path, (2 Peter 1:5-9), each quality builds on the other, Each...

God does not have a timeline.

Textualism again. Let's put it this way.... we worship the living Word of God not a book. That living word of God Speaks to His sheep, they hear his voice and know it and listen. The Book is what is what is our guide to know whether the Spirit is from God.

"All things work together for the good of those who love Him"-Rom. 8:28

It takes a lot of faith and trust to really believe this promise.... and a great deal of patience and waiting upon the LORD. Love this verse too.

Satan's Strategy proves Christianity to be true: My thoughts on Tozer devotional.

From Today's A.W. Tozer Devotional: "Satan's long, unrelenting warfare against the church has never been successful, and this has been at least partly due to his own unwisdom. In his fury he has shed the blood of millions of the saints, but always the blood of the martyr has become the seed...

you need to stop perceiving that someone who disagrees with you is engaging in 'negative speech' because they show your viewpoint is flawed.

God does not have a timeline.

I Most certainly do, and respect the Word of God as such. Do you understand that walking in the Spirit takes a lifetime to fully comprehend for a believer?

God does not have a timeline.

I would love for you to contribute to the topic at hand. If I show you your understanding of God's timing is errant, will you consider it? I will believe what the Spirit shows me is true.

God does not have a timeline.

Not an insult at all Marks, an encouragement to dig deeper into the Word of God to find what you may be missing. The deep things of God. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man...

Spoken like a true textualist. "I Have need of nothing".

God does not have a timeline.

As Much as I like debating with my Catholic Brethren, can we find another post to do this on. Or at least stick to the topic at hand. Perhaps discuss each of your eschatological views in an open and civil debate format. Ronald, thank you for keeping your comments civil. I tend to agree with...

God does not have a timeline.

Yes God has a timeline, it is just not what temporal human minds can figure out, because they don't think in the Spiritual dimension in which God dwells. The ones that think they have it figured out are going to be sorely disappointed. That is the big problem with fundamentalism IMO. Have a...

God does not have a timeline.

I use Psalm 90:10 as the generation spoke of. Take a close look at the wording in that verse and you may see the prophetic implication there. Especially the two different words translated as strength in the KJV. I think we went over this when I was discussing the blossoming fruit of the Judean...

    Can we sin through dreams?

Dreams show what we have allowed into our subconscious. At least that is my experience. So for example alcohol opens the door to the spirit of drunkenness which suppresses our inhibitions which in turn opens the door to other spirits to enter.

    Can we sin through dreams?

Adam, Sometimes God Uses dreams to show us which demonic spirits have control over us. Incubus and succubus come to mind on the sexual end here. Sounds like a spirit of anger and pride has a hold on you, or you are allowing that spirit a foothold in your life. That foothold could be as small as...
