In exile from the church - disconnected from what?

It has been awhile and I no longer remember when I read it, but I saw once an article that spoke of the growth of home churches.

Bibliolatry: Worship/knowledge of the book MORE than the author

Ps 138:2 I bow down toward your holy temple and give thanks to your name for your steadfast love and your faithfulness, for you have exalted above all things your name and your word. ESV I don't think that the author was going to bow down to the Tanach or Torah. God never wanted us...

"Christians don't know what they believe." - until they are brainwashed

I find it a paradoxical thing to say that we need the church to teach "sound doctrine" to new believers. And this is said on top of the concept that we need nobody to teach us, because God will give us truth. How do the two statements come together to provide an understanding? Not only that...

In exile from the church - disconnected from what?

But, do they even search for the home-church groups?

The "Yeah, but..." school of doctrine - Bible versus Bible

This issue was the very first one that I ever landed me in hot water at a church. Since I coordinate verses together to find truth, I exposed verses to the class where I was at. Of course, the church police turned me in. What do you think? Is all scripture "God-breathed?" I do believe that...

In exile from the church - disconnected from what?

I have found snippets of this book and have observed that they are researching about people leaving organized religious churches. If have no clue about their concern for the growth of "home churches" or even "zoom churches." I have zero problem with Christians leaving the non-profit businesses...

Keeping the Sabbath tells people Who you Worship

Call it a poorly considered phrase. My intent was that the red-letter passages must be compatible (not contradicting) with the rest of scripture. Not the groups of people - they will hardly ever agree.

"Christians don't know what they believe." - until they are brainwashed

Near and dear to me is the topic of "knowing why you believe the things you do." Imagine my surprise when I discovered that challenging a fellow believer to defend his or her belief scripturally was not acceptable behavior in a church. It was unacceptable not only to the church staff but to the...

Do You Have a Covenant With God?

    Scripture reference, please?

Do you guys support any of the "non-mainstream" party candidates? Such as Nikki Haley, Andrew Yang, Jill Stein, Marianne Williamson?

Hmmm, you speak as if you have great authority to judge and speak for all followers of Christ.

Does YAHAVAH, God, sanctify a person who seeks him out? Or Do you do it on your own?

With the power of Yahweh's spirit, our sanctification serves to result in "may your entire spirit, soul, and body be kept blameless." We are to walk "in the spirit." It takes effort on our part as our worldly ways be subjected to the mind of Christ.

Why do Christians prefer their Churches segregated..

Yes, but the question was not one of the end result of a person's incorrect thoughts, but of my behavior toward them. I have repeatedly attempted to help those who struggle and have found that these people often do not want help. I can only pray that Yahweh touch their hearts.

Keeping the Sabbath tells people Who you Worship

Seems to me that my view that all scripture passages must support each other in order for us to know that Yahweh gave us scripture (God breathed), then it is wrong to cast slurs on "red letter Christians" and "Pauline Christians," because both side must agree with each other. Paul cannot...

Does YAHAVAH, God, sanctify a person who seeks him out? Or Do you do it on your own?

Derailment happens quickly here, huh? Back to the topic: Consider the aspects of walking in a "new life." Ro 6:3–4 We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life...

Why do Christians prefer their Churches segregated..

Only if the ACT like their race is superior. A man's thoughts do no harm until they act on them.

Do You Have a Covenant With God?

I showed you the Greek word meaning "covenant," but you still want to claim it means "testament?" I fail to see what your purpose for this post is. Heb 12:24 and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel. The KJV is...

Do you guys support any of the "non-mainstream" party candidates? Such as Nikki Haley, Andrew Yang, Jill Stein, Marianne Williamson?

No, I am referring to the one who is not a politician, so he had to learn how "the machine" in DC works - trusting the wrong people too long. His intent to benefit the working-class people was obvious. His disdain for the deep state was also. But, "the machine" worked diligently to prevent him...

    Vaccines Safer than Infection

I think it is interesting that, once they took an "experimental vaccine," they were technically ineligible to operate with their pilot certificate. But, the FAA/DOT ignored their own rules to allow them to do so anyway.

Keeping the Sabbath tells people Who you Worship

I do. In my desire to walk with God in life, I have learned to have care for my brothers and sisters - as well as those neighbors who have yet to join the family - as I do myself. It is easier once I learned that God provides me the things I need, and above those needs; I share with others in...

Do You Have a Covenant With God?

Except the word is actually covenant. Thayers Greek dictionary: we find in the N. T. two distinct covenants spoken of, δύο διαθῆκαι (Galatians 4:24), viz. the Mosaic and the Christian, with the former of which (τῇ πρώτη διαθήκη, Hebrews 9:15, 18, cf. 8:9) the latter is contrasted, as καινή...
