The Two Witnesses Will Appear in the Next New Moon

You say the Vatican is the prostitute, but Ezekiel devoted an entire chapter, chapter 16, to describe Jerusalem as the prostitute. Ezekiel 16:15 But you trusted in your beauty and used your fame to become a prostitute Thirteen times the Lord refers to Jerusalem as the prostitute, in this...

Most Prophecy Teachers Clearly Reject God's Word!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounds to me like you're saying that there can be no contradictions in scripture, because it is the word of God. Is that what you're saying?

    Preterism misrepresents Scripture

So if Christ already reigns in us, here on earth, then how can you still be waiting for Jesus to come and reign on earth?

    Preterism misrepresents Scripture

I believe the restitution refers to rebuilding the bridge that was broken between God and man, and between man and eternal life, in the garden of Eden. And has that bridge not already been rebuilt, in Jesus?

Most Prophecy Teachers Clearly Reject God's Word!

When you say "God's eternal living Word", do you mean the Bible?

    Preterism misrepresents Scripture

Acts 3:21 is a very interesting verse. Heaven must receive him until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets. But the meaning of it depends on how you define the phrase "restore everything".

    Preterism misrepresents Scripture

He is speaking as one who was there, living in those days, among the Jews who worshipped at the temple, and therefore it's safe to assume that he understood the temple, and the people's relationship to it, a lot better than we do. If you could go back in time, wouldn't your understanding...

    Preterism misrepresents Scripture

Does Christ not already reign in us, here on earth?

Most Prophecy Teachers Clearly Reject God's Word!

It's not so much about interpretation, but about understanding. You might say "the sky is blue" is not open to interpretation, but if another passage says "the sky is red" then that has to be reconciled, and yes, there are such instances in the Bible where there are apparent contradictions...

The False Idea of Replacement Theology

Can you explain please where you get the idea that "it will be mainly descendants of Jacob who will make up the majority of God's people".

Most Prophecy Teachers Clearly Reject God's Word!

As someone who has come to new understanding many times throughout my Christian life, I would just like to point out that the people you disagree with are not lying, nor rejecting God's word. They are simply understanding it differently. And yes, sometimes we, as Christians, will ignore (for...

    Preterism misrepresents Scripture

For those interested in a slightly more complete reading of Josephus' understanding of the temple, and how it is likened to heaven and earth, I'll post this here. Heaven & Earth Temple When Moses distinguished the tabernacle into three parts, and allowed two of them to the priests, as a place...

    70 AD revisited

It was in fact the time of greatest anguish. Look at how Josephus describes this time. The Famine Now of those that perished by famine in the city, the number was prodigious, and the miseries they underwent were unspeakable; for if so much as the shadow of any kind of food did any where...

    Preterism misrepresents Scripture

To support the concept of "heaven and earth" referring to the temple, we can look at the writings of Josephus. Josephus Antiquities of the Jews, Book. 3, chapter 6:4, (P. 87) “However, this proportion of the measures of the tabernacle proved to be an imitation of the system of the world: for...

    Preterism misrepresents Scripture

I know I'm late to the party so I apologize if I'm touching on things already discussed, but I want to contribute the following. The key to understanding preterism is understanding heaven and earth. "Heaven and earth" refers not to the two entities, but rather to a connection between the two...
