    Exploring Trinitarian Logic

I am not sure where that idea is coming from, but to me it would seem to diminish His deity (God has no beginning and no end), and also since He created everything in both heaven and earth, including all powers and principalities. He is called the Son of God because He was begotten of God on...

    Exploring Trinitarian Logic

I've talked with you before about the new birth and I agree with you on that. It matters what happens after we are born again if we don't want to fall away. It matters what we believe and it matters how we walk.

    Exploring Trinitarian Logic

The deity of Christ is orthodox Christianity 101, Rita. Those who believe otherwise are believing an aberration and departing from sound doctrine. I'm really sad for those who can't see/hear the truth about this matter. As I said it's all over the scriptures. I can't keep up with threads very...

    Exploring Trinitarian Logic

I think my point was clear enough sister. Can't be a good thing when Christians start seeing Jesus as the world and false religions do, as a mere man or prophet. I would call that a falling away...apostasy.

    Exploring Trinitarian Logic

On that point I was just pointing out that He was before the creation of the world. (And to my understanding that speaks of eternity.)

    Exploring Trinitarian Logic

Phl 2:6-7 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men Jhn 17:5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had...

    Exploring Trinitarian Logic

Jhn 10:30 I and my Father are one. Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. If even unbelieving Jews knew what Jesus was saying, and attempted to stone Him to death for it, then how come there are supposedly believing Christians who don’t? And they also throw stones at those who do...

    Exploring Trinitarian Logic

Jesus said, "Why do you call me good? There is no one good but God." Ears to hear now brother. What was He implying? This man who was entirely without sin.

    Exploring Trinitarian Logic

Son of man speaks to His humanity. Son of God speaks to His Divinity.

    Exploring Trinitarian Logic

I'm not talking about "trinity", I'm just talking about the deity of Christ.

    Exploring Trinitarian Logic

Yes I know what my calling is. I havent' seen you mention your calling at all, but I don't get around a whole lot. Think I'll just leave it here for now @Ritajanice and let the thread get back on track.

    Exploring Trinitarian Logic

We are born again as little babes, but it's vital that we grow from there, forgetting what lies behind and reaching for what lies ahead. It's the "children" who are blown about by every wind of doctrine, and some of those doctrines lead to perdition.

Latest news on DC crash. Officials hold press conference

A society that has turned its back on God means it has become pagan, and can't expect His blessing, but the opposite. Competency is not about intelligence so much as it's about blessing or lack of it. That is why there is often so much incompetence in third world countries, not because they...

    Exploring Trinitarian Logic

I added a paragraph to my post that you might not have seen yet. I just don't understand that someone who talks so much and constantly about the Holy Spirit and His revelation is still so easily blown about by every other wind, 30 plus years later. And 30 years on we should know by now in Whom...

    Exploring Trinitarian Logic

I wasn't putting words into your mouth...it is what you have said more than once when I have brought scriptures to bear. The problem is not as much that you don't understand them, it's that you reject and repudiate them out of hand because you don't understand them. Instead of getting...

    Exploring Trinitarian Logic

Claims someone who often admits that scriptures aren't speaking to her and mean nothing to her....?

    Forgiveness?

I'm not sure being forgiven is necessarily the same thing as being reconciled. God or we may forgive, but being reconciled (being joined or re-joined in relationship) usually requires repentance on part of the wrong-doer. And that means acquiescing and acknowledging one's wrong, it doesn't...

    Exploring Trinitarian Logic

Yes I'm done. I could post so many more scripts that reveal and attest to Who Jesus is but you would just continue to repudiate them and say they don't speak to you. And you would be right, because only those with ears to hear can hear.

    Exploring Trinitarian Logic

It's ALL OVER the scriptures sister, Who He is/was. People have been posting a lot of them, but for some reason you choose to ignore all of those scrips and stick with one cherry-picked verse about Him not knowing the day/hour. And Who Jesus is and was IS a heart revelation.....as long as we...

    Forgiveness?

Not sure if I'm understanding you or not, but this is about us forgiving and not judging and meting out "justice" to others, not about us being personally accountable. If your neighbour broke your window would you go next door and break his window in retribution? Hopefully not.
