    Exploring Trinitarian Logic

I think this is actually simple sister, but of course we need the Holy Spirit to help us. Even though He was "God manifest in the flesh", being found in the form of a man Jesus set aside, as it were, His deity, because this was the will of the Father that He do so until after His death and...

    Forgiveness?

I agree about the difference between forgiving and reconciling. Reconciling requires the acknowledgement of wrongdoing on part of the offender and them taking responsibility for it. But forgiveness is something we can do without involving those who wronged us....and to my understanding I think...

Everyone will receive a Mark, whose mark is the question.

Man without God/Christ wants to control everything to the nth degree and have everything neatly wrapped up and tied up with a bow. That is man trusting in himself because of having no faith in God and allowing Him room to rule and to work. Inevitably it will lead to death (the way that seemeth...

Western Trinitarians, do not follow the early church teaching.

1Co 2:6-8 We speak wisdom, however, among them that are full grown: yet a wisdom not of this world, nor of the rulers of this world, who are coming to nought: but we speak God’s wisdom in a mystery, even the wisdom that hath been hidden, which God FOREORDAINED before the worlds unto our glory...

Western Trinitarians, do not follow the early church teaching.

Love is not rude and does not behave itself unseemly. So we do need to be led by the Spirit and wait upon the Lord to open an effectual door, and not be forcing ourselves through other people's doors/boundaries against their will. There are many things in the bible that people want to discuss...

    Exploring Trinitarian Logic

Not arguing with that sister. The Lord is faithful to help us any way He has access. If the devil closes one avenue, the Lord will make most of an avenue that is not closed. And I'm not going to pit one way against the other. But we aim for the scriptures to also become part of us.....hidden...

    Exploring Trinitarian Logic

In Matthew, Mark and Luke it says this: Mat 24:35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. No need to overthink things.....scripture says we are not to lean on our own understanding but in all our ways acknowledge (and depend upon) GOD and HE will make our paths...

Amen brother. Nothing new under the sun, sadly. And for anyone reading, God's instruction to touch not the unclean thing in both old and new testaments is talking about mixture, and that is how the devil DECEIVES. With mixture. Clothed with some truth and the name of Jesus but pagan in its...

    Exploring Trinitarian Logic

It's so strange to me that a born again Christian would be arguing against God-breathed scriptures. Maybe you're overthinking this. And I'm not speaking of the letter but the new way of the Spirit. Amen we are to seek God with all our heart.....He is there, and also in heaven and also in His...

Amen, very much so....these are deeply troubling things going on in Christendom. We expect this from the world, but when it invades and takes most of the church captive, it is so sad and troubling there are no words for it.

Amen. I'm sure realizing that life is but a vapour as I draw near to the end. One minute you are getting married and having children and the years go by swiftly and the next thing is blink and suddenly you are dealing with aging. I have no wish to remain here in this world personally brother...

    Exploring Trinitarian Logic

Doctrine is teachings and beliefs. It matters very much what we believe and choose to believe, as that can steer us in the right direction, or it can lead us astray, which can ultimately lead to apostasy. After being born again we are exhorted in scripture to grow in understanding and in...

Brother I sure do literally tremble for this world and those many believers who are falling away from the true faith. They are on a head-on collision course with the Lord God Almighty. But to the faithful He will show Himself faithful.

It would be funny if it weren't so eternally serious. What on earth do they think the gospel is?

These are such troubling times, Amigo. I feel that America has turned a corner, and though it might seem like an improvement politically in some respects (at least for now), spiritually it has turned down a very dark road.

I don't doubt it at all brother.

That is just like the early church who were mostly Jews and were shut out and shunned by their communities and synagogues for believing Jesus was the Messiah....in those days at that time it meant the loss of their livelihood in terms of both buying what they needed and selling their goods...

    Exploring Trinitarian Logic

I'm not just talking about being born again, but about doctrine. Everything isn't about being born again....after being born again there is so much to learn and grow in. I don't think too many of us even knew the term born again until we read it in the bible sis....all we knew at the time it...

Who are the merchants of Babylon today and what do they trade in.....souls of men and false doctrines and their many many books and TV shows, conferences, worship music, and all manner of religious paraphernalia from T-shirts to jewelry to coffee mugs, plaques and pictures etc, etc. Remember...
