What will happen to Christians who reject the Sabbath?

Fair enough, I guess, but my original comment was in response to: ...when you were, in fact, referring to self-righteousness. I don't think we can just write folks off who aren't able or even willing to see their danger. Christ didn't do that to me, and I'm still a work in progress, so... .

What will happen to Christians who reject the Sabbath?

Keeping the Sabbath won't get anyone into the Kingdom—only the Saviour can save. But, then, neither will insisting that the Sabbath is anything and everything except what the Bible actually says it is—no matter how many lines and paragraphs of equivocation are used to attempt such a thing. I...

He also calls us to rightly divide it. That's no lie. .

What I know is that no one wins this "game." I've said that there is no such thing as idolizing the Bible—only one's own opinions of what it says. And yet I'm being lumped in with a group of folks who are characterized as liberal commie whatchamacallits. Communication has broken down completely...

I forgot to mention that I also don't have the ability to log off the forum, close a browser tab, or power down my device. In short, I'm powerless to stop the flow of stuff that offends me—it's completely vulnerable, I am. .

Yeah, I really think your free/hate speech should be censored. Even though you don't know my real name or address and it appears you live roughly 2000+ miles away (oops—wrong coast; now I AM worried), I feel unsafe. :p (Sarcasm isn't against forum rules, I'm told.) .

"Smarty pants?" How will I recover from this devastating blow to my ego? God's Seven Thousand all wrapped up into one prophet. "I, alone... And they seek my life." Well, you've eluded them for nearly 4 years. Maybe you'll make it another day or two. .

Hypocrisy! Sometimes I want the time to pass quickly, other times slowly, but I always want to be myself! Pray that I get my head straight! (love?)

Only believe, GS, and you can live by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Everything God has said, He will bring to pass, in His appointed time. The working out of the will of God in our lives is directly commensurate with the enthusiasm with which we believe. The story is told...

Yeah, textual issues are keeping the Gospel from reaching millions. .

Oh, you've got him now. I always say, the only thing worse than a King James warrior is a King James hater - lol. I can't believe this show is free. .

Who could've predicted you'd respond to every paragraph but this one: After all, drawing any attention to it would have spoiled your straw man posturing. I really like the Calvinism red herring, too—nice touch. FWIW, I do fully concur with your comments about "originals." Unfortunately, I...

Is this teaching method very effective for you? And we're off to the the Eternal Security races. The topic is about the Bible as an idol. The truth is, however, that no one idolizes the Bible—only their cherished opinions of what it says. :) .

Ascribing motive makes me ill. I don't see how Christians can do it, honestly. I can't say I'm guiltless, either, but: "Man looks on the outward appearance..." .

What will happen to Christians who reject the Sabbath?

I think you missed the point. Folks who resist the Holy Spirit can't see that they're attempting righteousness by works. In fact, for nearly all of us, it's not a matter of whether we have legalistic tendencies, but to what degree, in what manner, and what we're trying to do about it. .

But I have to keep my perception of omnipresence from crossing over into pantheism, Sis. I don't think I can presume safety without caution here. .
