    Understanding the GodHead.

Jesus wasn't crucified because He claimed to be a Son like every other child of Abraham. “33 They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free? 34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is...

Harvard professors argue that America needs a 'militant democracy' to stop Trump

One common thread running through these current event and political discussions is a lack of a true biblical perspective, that of realising and acknowledging that we fight not against flesh and blood but spiritual wickedness...aka demonic powers... in heavenly places. The Democrats, the...

No, Jesus only ruled Himself out of being "the only true God". In the sense of "only true God", we would refer possibly to “But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him. ” 1 Corinthians 8:6...

Yes, you are right. However, Catholicism sees certain specific doctrines as essential to being Catholic, such as the trinity, transubstantiation, etc. but not so essential as to impede some sort of loose union in which Rome is willing to tolerate certain differences with other Christian...

I agree. That's trinitarianism certainly. You forget however I'm not Trinitarian. But I absolutely believe the Son of God is not just a title, and a metaphorical concept denying reality. The gospel of John and his 2 first letters were written to counter beliefs such as the trinity and your own.

You are taking it to personally. Just saying, that to worship the beast, all you need do is accept papal doctrine and authority over and above the word of God. That is a form of worship.i think you as well as I could pinpoint any number of Catholic doctrine that replace scripture and replace...

You obey the papal dogma, you are surrendering to papal authority. That is a form of worship. The world may not be there yet, but is heading very quickly in that direction. If you haven't noticed that, you've been asleep.

    What People Don't Realize

@Ronald Nolette You are denigrating the law as if there is something wrong with it, and we need to be afraid of it so we should ignore it. Yet the scriptures say exactly the opposite. Paul said they are holy, just, and good. David repeatedly exalted the law. And prophecy stared that...

    What People Don't Realize

What kind of an answer is that to the truth that the wages of sin is death? Sin is the transgression of the law. So when you say I would respond that the law does not bring death upon anyone. Sinning against that law... that is what brings death. Now please point out what I have said that is...

    What People Don't Realize

The first 3 fruit are love, joy, and peace. Along with the other 6, these absolutely are to be obtained in this life, and yes, obedience to the commandments of God have a vital role in this.

    Unravelling Revelation

Doesn't Daniel repeat and enlarge? Isn't Daniel 7a repeat of Daniel 2, and Daniel's 8,9,11 further detailed repays of previous chapters? Why wouldn't God be consistent and just as informative in revelation?

    What People Don't Realize

The wages of sin is death, and sin is the transgression of the law. It's only sinners who are subject to the curse of the law, and die. Those born again who are forgiven, who live according to the Spirit and obey the commandments by the power of God and trust in Christ as their substitute as...

    Unravelling Revelation

I agree in part. But some of those sequential passages are repeated but from a different perspective, not different time frame. For example, the 7 churches, the seals, and the trumpets, cover the same time frame, but come from slightly different perspectives on the ministry of Christ in His...

One is not designated a sheep or goat until the final judgment... those who were sent to the lost sheep of Israel did return with some fruit...lost sheep (or goats) that were found and converted... surely the reverse would be true also? Some of those lost sheep rejected the message of the gospel...

Is Antisemitism caused by hatred of the Sabbath?

In this you are incorrect, and need to rethink your perspective. I recently offered this in another thread, but it gives this thread a perspective that ought to be noted... Post in thread 'What is the truth that sets us free?' What is the truth that sets us free?

What is the truth that sets us free?

“1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the...

You still haven't explained who the beast is. Nor have you explained what its mark is. Sure, it's a sign of loyalty to the beast, but as Revelation 14 describes, it brings down the most dire of God's judgements, surely we need to understand precisely what it is that we may avoid it, and how...

So the entire book of Revelation is timestamped as having taken place while he was writing the book? Or just the parts you can't explain otherwise? Nothing was in the future to his writing? Revelation 17:8 refers only to his precise time? He couldn't have been writing from a perspective in the...

    Unravelling Revelation

There's one major issue with the assumption that John is referencing the literal temple in Jerusalem as he wrote Revelation. The Bible literally tells us it is in heaven. “And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were...
