Interesting, I did hold pre-trib views, but now I am not too sure, I know both pre-trib and post-trib can be backed up with scripture, not too sure about mid-trib, but I assume that view can also be backed up with scripture.

The Bible does not tell us the age of the universe/earth, but it does tell us about the generations between Adam and Jesus Christ, which can be counted. But we cannot find anywhere in the Bible where it says the earth was 4000 years old when Jesus entered the world.

We are under the New Covenant of grace, the turning point was when Jesus died on the cross for our sins. In regards to Old Testament law though, there are things that still apply like the 10 commandments, but there are other things that don't, animal sacrifices are no longer needed...

I remember from a sermon from a number of years ago someone was preaching on the 10 commandments being summed up by Jesus's 2 commandments in the NT, Love the Lord and love thy neighbour, that all these 10 commandments are related to love the Lord and love thy neighbour.
