Is Sunday sacredness in the Bible?

Yes, I think that translators have done harm to the words of God by imposing their doctrines on the pages of text. However, even when I look at the Hebrew interlinear bibles, I find the word "new." chadash: new Original Word: חָדָשׁ Part of Speech: Adjective Transliteration: chadash Phonetic...

The one and only Son, who is Himself God

Oh, yes, we can play with words all throughout our English translations. We need to keep in mind, though, that our Father is not a God of confusion. 1 Co 14:33 Sometimes, we are drawn to a form of scriptural litigation when we should be able to let God sort it our for us. Yeshua is call...

Is Sunday sacredness in the Bible?

I guess I don't know what you mean by "same covenant." Yahweh, Himself, said it was a new one. Hebrews chapters 8 thru 10 describe it. If you are simply saying that both covenants require people to live by faith, that is true.

Does Christ repeat the Sabbath commandment?

Well, it is a good thing that our final home is not up to anyone walking the Earth now.

And Yahweh "said". Because of our translations in English, we don't see Yahweh's name in our bibles. But, it is there. There is no doubt about Who created.

Bibliolatry: Worship/knowledge of the book MORE than the author

I find this interesting: Yes prophets do still exist . and any and all , even if they claim thus sayeth the LORD , their words must be tested . IF said words do not contradict that which is written in scripture , it came of GOD If scripture already says something, why would God send a prophet...

The one and only Son, who is Himself God

I certainly have. Often I find people claiming that Yeshua is "the savior." Well, depending on one's perspective of the things they have been taught, they could do that. But, in reality, who prophesied and brought the New Covenant? It was no Yeshua, it was Yahweh. Yahweh is the actual savior...

Bibliolatry: Worship/knowledge of the book MORE than the author

It is more difficult to live by scripture than it is to fight by it.

The one and only Son, who is Himself God

This is not a competition, brother. I have spent years affirming the trinity doctrine out of failure to devote time and effort into research needed to validate it. I simply believed those who claimed to be better educated in scripture than I was. It has not been that long that I discovered my...

The one and only Son, who is Himself God

Many amendments were made to bibles in order to validate the doctrine of the Trinity. This was one of them.

Is Sunday sacredness in the Bible?

We interrupt this squabble for a message from our sponsor: Ro 14:1–8 As for the one who is weak in faith, welcome him, but not to quarrel over opinions. One person believes he may eat anything, while the weak person eats only vegetables. Let not the one who eats despise the one who abstains...

why is it wrong to belive all go to heaven if they repent and follow ...

While it is an incomplete question about " belive all go to heaven if they repent and follow," our New Covenant is partially stated here. The difficulty with answering the question is that the incomplete sentence requires completion to understand what the question really is.

Were We Alive In Heaven Before We Were Born?

We were not "alive" in Heaven before we were born on Earth, but the Jewish mindset is that Yahweh "knew us" before we were conceived. We see in scriptures that He names only certain coming people who will serve Him, and there are passages that speak of those people in the "prophecy perfect"...

Source or Resource? - Understanding the difference

Yes, it was. The Pilgrims came to America with the Geneva Bible. The KJV was not the standard translation until the Queen of England prohibited any more Geneva bibles from being published.

English speakers had a few translations of the bible before the KJV.

Source or Resource? - Understanding the difference

Not to derail this discussion, I think it would be good to share the timeline of our bibles in English. I shall suppose that most here realize that the KJV bible did not come over on the Mayflower - the Geneva bible did.

Source or Resource? - Understanding the difference

I think that books that teach of the ancient Hebrew culture and history should be included as well as the relevant history of Rome.
