    The Problem With The Trinity

I did both of those things 33 years ago and have been walking in the Spirit ever since. Just because a person does not believe like you does not mean they are without the Holy Spirit.

    The Problem With The Trinity

There is only one acceptable means of expression on this thread; that is, to address the subject matter and not make personal comments about those who oppose us.

    The Problem With The Trinity

Seriously? It is not inaccurate to refer to the Father as "Lord" because that is the translation of "Adonai", but "the LORD" is NOT a translation OR transliteration of the Tetragrammaton. It is a MAN-MADE SUBSTITUTION for the Tetragrammaton. It is an impossibility to argue against that FACT. The...

    The Problem With The Trinity

I consider telling me I'm seeking to be justified by the law, saved by the law, without the Holy Spirit, going to hell, condemning everyone to hell, etc., as personal attacks.

    The Problem With The Trinity

Sometimes the base text makes a difference as in 1 Timothy 3:16, but many other times it is not the text, but the translation of the same Greek word. For example, all Greek texts say "pascha" in Acts 12:4, but the KJV erroneously translates it "Easter" whereas newer versions translate it...

    The Problem With The Trinity

You implied I don't have the Holy Spirit.

    The Problem With The Trinity

Since you cannot attack my message successfully, you attack the messenger. I suppose the readers of Tyndale's Bible, Matthew's Bible, The Great Bible, The Geneva Bible and the Bishop's Bible all said the same thing; "The translation that was given to us was translated correctly by the scholars...

    The Problem With The Trinity

That would be the easiest thing to do, but my love for them forces me to endure their personal attacks and mistreatment of Scripture in order to help them see the truth.

    The Problem With The Trinity

Yes, to your first question. As for your second question, I ask you the same thing. Is the Father deceiving us by telling us He sent His Son, but He really sent Himself? Did He deceive us by telling us He lives forever, but really not since He died? Did He deceive us by telling us Yeshua...

    The Problem With The Trinity

I'm surprised you would ask such a question and conclude the answer is the Son of God. We are not told that person's identity, nor are we told it is the same person found in Revelation 1. I choose to not read my own guesses into the text.

    The Problem With The Trinity

I didn't ask you to restate your current belief. I said, "Does Paul's statement n Galatians 5 apply to you if you are wrong about the "Deity of Christ"?" You said to ByGrace, "And if you consider the stakes...that if I am right and you (or I) deny the Deity of Christ, you will die in your sins...

    The Problem With The Trinity

How come the translators did not change the order of words every time the same Hebrew construction was used of other men, but when it is used of Yeshua, they change the order? Now that is being dishonest with Scripture.

    The Problem With The Trinity

Does Paul's statement n Galatians 5 apply to you if you are wrong about the "Deity of Christ"?; Gal 5:19 Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, Gal 5:20 idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions...

    The Problem With The Trinity

He is NOT to be worshiped as "the only true God". He is to be "worshiped" as the Son of the only true God, as our King, and as our Saviour. You would do well to do a word study on the Hebrew and Greek words translated "worship/worshipped/worships", etc.

    The Problem With The Trinity

I see the Father in Scripture. I see the Son in Scripture. I see the Holy Spirit in Scripture. I do not see that they are co-equal or co-eternal. Nor do I see them as three separate "persons" comprising the one true God. There is nothing in John 13-17 or Romans 8 that teaches any such thing.

    Eternal Security

The verse says he sits "WITH" his Father. He does NOT sit alone AS the Father.
  17. gadar perets

    The Problem With The Trinity

The way you capitalized "AM" is very deceptive as is the way you took his words out of context. God does not have blood. He is a Spirit. Nor was God's "blood" required. Only the blood of an uncorrupted/sinless man was necessary. As for Acts 20:28, some Greeks texts translate as "through the...

    The Problem With The Trinity

As I said, it is an unbiased study. If all he quoted was trinitarians (and he quoted a lot of them), it would be totally bias. I am still waiting on the verses you referenced in John 13-17. Give me the relevant verses in Romans 8 as well. And please don't waste my time in the future by not...

    The Problem With The Trinity

Here is an unbiased study of the issue of Matthew 28:19. As for John 13-17, you will need to be more specific about what verses teach the trinity.

    The Problem With The Trinity

Although I do not believe the trinity doctrine, I reverence the Son and trust in him. I will not perish from the way. Just the opposite, I will receive everlasting life (John 3:16).
