    Offenders in the kingdom

What about a verse such as Colossians 1:13? Colossians 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: Before I was saved I was physically living among sinners and offenders. Now that I’m saved, I’m still physically living among...

    Offenders in the kingdom

I’m in agreement with you on this, I personally don’t think the kingdom of heaven = the kingdom after it is delivered to the Father. Ewq1938 was the one who made that claim, I was asking how Matthew 11:12 could be interpreted if that was the case. I don’t think he gave a very convincing answer...

    Offenders in the kingdom

Ok, so really none of the parable has anything to do with the millennium, right?

    Offenders in the kingdom

If events that happened during the days of John the Baptist, approx 2,000 years ago, are viewed as happening to the kingdom of the Father and not a so called “earthly kingdom” then that same principle should be applied to the parable of the tares, especially when the parable starts out using the...

    Offenders in the kingdom

The kingdom of the Father can only take place once Jesus delivers up the kingdom to the Father in 1 Corinthians 15:24. If the kingdom of heaven is the kingdom of the Father then how do you explain Matthew 11:12? Matthew 11:12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of...

    Offenders in the kingdom

The parable of the tares starts out like this in Matthew 13:24 “Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened ….” How can the offenders in this parable not be in the kingdom of heaven?

    Offenders in the kingdom

I agree, I personally don’t believe in NOSAS, and I have a solution that works for my beliefs. I will give you this, your NOSAS view and your Premil view does work. I’m not sure why some people here will compromise their hermeneutics just to try to prove or disprove a point, it’s not worth it...

    Offenders in the kingdom

Moses’ seat was the authority the first century Jews had. Matthew 28:18 says all power was given to Jesus. That would include the authority of Moses’ seat. Regardless of what the Jews teach today, they don’t have the authority that the first century Jews had.

    Offenders in the kingdom

Matthew 23:2 Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat: I’m saying they had the power to interpret the Law and imposed its burden. Matthew 23:13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in...

    Offenders in the kingdom

The Pharisees were on earth. Tell me, when was the kingdom taken from them? Are you still waiting for that to be fulfilled? Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

    Offenders in the kingdom

I don’t know what your eschatological view is but trying to claim the offenders are not in the kingdom is a tough position to defend. A preterist view can give us an explanation that makes sense. A Premil view where salvation can be lost can also make sense. If you choose to abandon a view...

    Offenders in the kingdom

Well that could be but there is a solution that makes sense as to why the offenders are in the kingdom, and agrees with John 3:5 that only born again can enter the kingdom.

    Offenders in the kingdom

Have you come to the heavenly Jerusalem? Are you in heaven or are you under heaven? Colossians 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

    Offenders in the kingdom

I think the problem is once some Premils, the OSAS Premils, are confronted with the kingdom containing offenders they tend to want to place parts the parable of the tares into the millennium, they try to say the kingdom (millennial kingdom) hasn’t been established yet as a reason for the...

    Offenders in the kingdom

In the parable of the tares the angels gather out of the kingdom all that offend and do iniquity and cast them into the fire. Are you saying this isn’t going to happen or are you saying the angels gather the tares but the tares aren’t in the kingdom?
  16. G

    Offenders in the kingdom

That would be the kingdom of heaven.
  17. G

    Offenders in the kingdom

Well, I do personally think the kingdom has been established and that only people who are born again can enter into it. However if there are currently offenders in that kingdom then claiming the offenders got into the kingdom because the kingdom wasn’t established yet doesn’t make sense.

    Offenders in the kingdom

Ok, in the parable of the tares it says “ the kingdom of heaven is …” I want to confirm you think the kingdom of heaven is the millennial kingdom. I had a conversation with someone on this forum a few days ago who boldly told me there are no Premils who will deny we have come to the kingdom of...

    Offenders in the kingdom

Let me ask you this, currently, has anyone entered into the kingdom in any way, shape,or form?

    Offenders in the kingdom

Ok, He was sowing seed in His field. Here’s what you said in post #18 When did or will Jesus loose His field he’s sowing the seeds in? He has to loose it before it can be given back to Him, right?
