Questions, Answers, and Everything In Between: Exploring God

There is and should be no question that those who believed and whole heartly followed God and His ways, had faith in His promises of deliverance. Other than that, I'm not sure what you're getting at.

The Way God HAS ALWAYS Revealed The Truth.

That is completely understandable, and yet we have a precedence that is completely different than that: When Messiah came Israel was not yet ready either, and in fact had perhaps become its worst, even rejecting and crucifying their Messiah, while being quite full of themselves. Perhaps you can...

Has the time come when all truth is revealed?

Yes! And blessings to you for as much as expecting it to come! There is and has been a great deal of misunderstanding regarding the promise of Christ sending the Holy Spirit to lead us unto all truth. The first, is that it all seemed to be foretold as occurring during the same time of false...

    The THREE DAYS of Christ.

First things first: If you think my explanation is word salad, welcome to the confusion placed upon all language by God at Babel. But it is not my explanation that is confused, but rather the words of scripture which are no exception to His order that all language be confused. My explanation on...

Is it prideful or arrogant to claim to be "born again"?

I have no theology, but have spoken to you the truth from God.

The Way God HAS ALWAYS Revealed The Truth.

Understanding the truth from God--is not a competition. And yet it goes on as if it were, all the time...as if we all had a say or a vote...or even equal access to the Holy Spirit. But that is not what is going on. That is not how things work. Not because I say so, but because God has made if...

Is it prideful or arrogant to claim to be "born again"?

You can cherry-pick a verse that seems to support your own beliefs and desires all you want--but that doesn't make it biblical, not if your understanding of it doesn't reconcile with the rest of scripture. And your stated understanding does not reconcile.

    Argumentative

Surely, arguing is a human trait based in insecurity. But there is another aspect or two that we even see here on Christianity Board: There are those who have built their house upon any manner of beliefs and stand guard to defend it whether right or wrong. And then there is the actual truth...

    On the pre-existence of Jesus

According to John 1 and Hebrews 13:8, they at least eventually did know it to be true. But the mere fact that Jesus is God (as many scriptures indicate), there should be no question.

Is it prideful or arrogant to claim to be "born again"?

Your beliefs are not entirely biblical. Which comes from a misunderstanding of what the world actually is. It is not a place and time to bring everyone around to salvation, but the manifestation of all that was before the world began. This is the evidence being presented before the judgement...

The Discipleship of the Nations was never about taking the Gospel to the entire global world.

The truth of Christ's return is even more astounding than you have stated. Jesus said He would come "soon" and "quickly" and stating all that "must shortly take place"--and then He explained just how it would occur, saying, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and...

    Husbands, love your wives

I wasn't speaking of my salvation, or giving an interpretation of my own, but stating the truth from God. Do you not believe that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever in His acts of revelation here a little there a little, not to be finished until just before time no longer?

Revelation 11:1-3 - Can someone explain to me what these 3 verses are telling us?

What is holding you up? Incidentally, I was not giving my opinion, but speaking by the same Spirit which God has poured out since the beginning.

Questions, Answers, and Everything In Between: Exploring God

I am not sure just what it is you are getting at. Even in failure Israel did succeed in being a light unto the gentiles, and a foundation built with flesh and blood, even to make straight the way of the Lord, who having died and paid for the sins of the world, bore fruit of the Spirit thereafter.

Questions, Answers, and Everything In Between: Exploring God

No. On the contrary, Jesus' last words regarding Israel before "It is finished", included, "Father forgive them, for they know not what they do." (Luke 23:34).

Revelation 11:1-3 - Can someone explain to me what these 3 verses are telling us?

A measuring rod is the length and stature of a man--meaning John was told to measure or count the number of people of the house of Israel up until the time of the cross, who make up that inner portion of the spiritual Temple in heaven. The outer court of the gentiles--meaning the saved of the...

Revelation 11:1-3 - Can someone explain to me what these 3 verses are telling us?

Revelation 11:1-3 is a vision of God's two witnesses grouped together as each being one man (one as of flesh as Adam, and the other as born again of the spirit as Christ)--one man/witness before the cross and one after. "42 months" is 1260 days or half of 70 weeks...a riddle not easily followed...

What Does It Mean That No One Knows The Day Or The Hour (Mark 13:32)? Here Is One View

@Rockerduck As the Son of man, it was the man Jesus who went to the cross. But as both fully man and fully God, as it is written of Him, He walked with one foot on the land and the other on the sea (earth and heaven, flesh and spirit).

Is it prideful or arrogant to claim to be "born again"?

@Ritajanice That is a residue of the old man and mind, basically struggling to fully believe. It is not a process per se, but what occurs in the twinkling of an eye, can understandably be taken as somewhat unbelievable. Unfortunately, that developed into the "lie" that Paul wrote of causing...

Revelation 10:4 - Do not write what you have heard...

No, the times of the gentiles began when Jesus was "finished" with "the house of Israel", ascended to the Father, and then ("Behold, I stand at the door and knock") began to return at Pentecost to the "other fold" of the gentiles, which He said He "must also bring." The end of the time of the...
