You presume to have the awareness of God? My experience has been that a lot that do not read the Bible carry a KJV because they do not know the scriptures and carry it to fit in.

Most scholars consider that something between a parable and a allegory. I do not think someone in fire is going to do much talking, mostly screaming. But still I am on the fence on this.

As far as the Bibles, they all the same. The difference is how close they are to what the Apostles wrote. A Bible is a book and they are all books, the works of men....some more accurate than others The term "real Bible" is an ambiguous term.

@ReChoired Hell I am sure they did the best they could. In a way this is the story of the difficulties of translating the language from one culture to a language of another culture. And a lot of this applies to the process of translating as a whole. So we have Jews translating Hebrew scriptures...

God gave us the scriptures and man corrupted them and it ended up in the KJV. Modern translatons try to recover that truth. Not that anything is perfect but they try to stick to the truth rather than carry on the corruption in later translations.
