Thanks. But for an 'infallible' truth, I don't see much support for it in Scripture.

They do not teach that Mary is God. They do not claim to worship her, or images. They do claim to worship the Eucharist, which is a physical object (therefore, an idol).

I was responding to BOL's statement: "They will find that EVERY doctrine listed is substantiated by Scripture." I'll let him reply.

    Calvinism is a Cult

You said: "Also, a man can have victory over, and be completely set free from, the influence and power of the flesh." I don't believe that statement. Carry on!

Is there Scripture substantiation for The Dogma of the Assumption? If so, please list the verses which clearly prove this infallible declaration.

    Calvinism is a Cult

Thanks for your response. I do not doubt your conversion, but I believe God is always first; before any decision we make for Him, He has determined we would make it. So, we differ on that issue. The flesh is never free from the 'influence of the flesh'. Even the believer continues to battle...

'Are part of' and 'once belonged' do not go together, methinks. They should be called a Protestant, man-made mess, per your statements.

    Calvinism is a Cult

You said: "...he is enabled to make a decision unhindered by demons and/or the flesh and/or the world;.." Not one person is able to do what you just claimed. Only the sinless Son of God.

Did the Orthodox church 'splinter' also? But they're not Protestant, right? Are they a 'man-made mess'? They claim to be the 'Original Tree' also, and I don't think they even allow a Catholic to partake of their Eucharist. Can your Churches both be the 'Original Tree' ?

    Calvinism is NOT a Cult!

He (mjrhealth) also believes the Scriptures are faulty; many contradictions which can't be resolved. Why does he use so many Bible verses to support his comments? Because he says (approximately) that 'Christians demand it'.

    Calvinism is NOT a Cult!

"sad thing is if you asked Christ He would tell you that not many christians seek God nor Jesus.." mjrhealth means you should ask Christ directly, person to person, as he did when he went to Heaven and met with God.

    Calvinism is NOT a Cult!

(Matthew 20) 12…‘These last men have worked only one hour, and you made them equal to us who have borne the burden and the heat of the day.’ 13. But he answered one of them and said, ‘Friend, I am doing you no wrong. Did you not agree with me for a denarius? 14. Take what is yours and go your...

    The Five Points of Calvinism

"All who hear (or read) the Gospel are drawn to the Savior." Not true. John 6 makes it clear that only those whom the Father gives to Jesus, will come to Him. And, "No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him…" Zillions of people have read the Bible, or heard the gospel...
