Messiah Yeshua (Jesus Christ) is NOT Almighty YHWH

I can't tell if these verses are claiming that Jesus is God. Thanks for pointing some things out, although I think leaving out the words "He who is" in verse 15 still doesn't convince me that 15 and 16 are referring to God. Would you say that you must accuse trinitarians of idolatry...

    Our Awesome Creator and Saviour

So you think 'saved Christians' are enemies of God? Windmillcharge hasn't answered the question either. James 4:4 says if you are a friend of the world, you are an enemy of God. Is a believer a friend of the world? No. Believers have peace with God.

But, not still enemies of God, correct?

    The (so called) Real Presence

Nope, not '..hungry to learn about the Real Presence' . You said: "...so you wont walk away before it's to late and you bring damnation upon yourself:.." Does your religion teach that Protestants are bringing damnation upon themselves, not having the Real Presence on their Communion table...

    Our Awesome Creator and Saviour

Do you agree with him when he said: '...while we were and are still sinners and enemies of God,.." We are still enemies of God?

Messiah Yeshua (Jesus Christ) is NOT Almighty YHWH

From 1Timothy 6: 13. I urge you in the sight of God who gives life to all things, and before Christ Jesus who witnessed the good confession before Pontius Pilate, 14. that you keep this commandment without spot, blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ’s appearing, 15. which He will manifest in His...

Questions About the Bible But You Were Afraid to Ask

Why, oh why, are there no original Biblical manuscripts?

    The (so called) Real Presence

You said: "So do you believe it is better to have your kind of faith?" Yes, for Scriptural reasons. (Walk by faith, not by sight. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. If you see something, why do you still hope for it? What we can see is temporal, what is...

    The (so called) Real Presence

I think you are right: it is not a container for Jesus made of bread and wine. The objects are actually Him, according to your Church. In person. Face to face. You worship a god you can see. Protestants worship the God they cannot see, by faith.

    Our Awesome Creator and Saviour

From Romans 5: 9. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. 10. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. Do I know any what...

    Our Awesome Creator and Saviour

I don't think believers are the 'enemies of God' any longer.

    The (so called) Real Presence

From 2Corinthians 5: 16. Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. From Catholic.com: "The doctrine of the Real Presence asserts that in the Holy Eucharist, Jesus is literally and...

    Does "LAW" matter?

From John Calvin's Institutes of the Christian Religion: "To sum up, the (Mosaic) law is an exhortation to believers. This is not something to bind their consciences with a curse, but to shake off their sluggishness, by repeatedly urging them, and to pinch them awake to their imperfection."...

Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy

From 1Timothy 1:8. But we know that the law is good if one uses it lawfully, 9. knowing this: that the law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and for sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers...

Once Saved....always Saved - Results of Questionnaire.

You said: "The way some people operate in their thinking about being saved one minute and then not the next..." I agree. It seems that the Catholic/Orthodox churches (and many commenters on these Forums) teach that one can lose, what only God can accomplish: the salvation of His people from His...

    The (so called) Real Presence

I deny that the bread and wine is God in person: it is not an object to be worshipped. Do your Protestant siblings deny the 'Real Presence' ?

    The (so called) Real Presence

Guess I can't answer either of your questions; both are mysteries to me. I do not deny His presence, though, just as you described. Probably different for every believer. I think I even had a series of 'visions' at an early stage of my conversion. You have a much closer, more intimate, walk...

    The (so called) Real Presence

It seems as if there is a contrast between a 'presence' in heart, as Paul is claiming to have with the brethren in vs. 17, and a 'presence' in person' at His coming, as in vs.19. 1 Thessalonians 2:17. "But we, brethren, having been taken away from you for a short time in presence, not in...

    The (so called) Real Presence

(adding bold lettering) I don't think His real presence is here. Verse 17 says: "But we, brethren, having been taken away from you for a short time in presence, not in heart, endeavored more eagerly to see your face with great desire." Then in verse 19 he mentions the presence of the Lord at...
