The Bible was written in a culture where kissing others was a common practice. In out culture the equivalent would be shaking hands.

Whenever the Bible describes the clothing of those in heaven it seems that it is usually white. Of course there might be some references to other colors that I am not aware of. When Adam and Eve were created they didn't wear clothes at all. I wonder if there will be some in heaven like that.

My favorite color is blue. That is something of a problem for me because in the US blue is associated with the Democratic Party and liberal politics. Red is associated with the Republican Party and the conservative politics which I believe in.

Of course the best book is the Bible. I have read a lot of good books that help me understand it, but there are so many I can't pick out any one as the best. Some spiritual books are dangerous because the spirit behind them is not the Holy Spirit.

The best subject anyone can learn about, whether in school or anywhere else, is the Bible. To be effective this learning must not just mean knowledge about the Bible, but must involve putting it into practice.
