Imagine a hypothetical person/society that has no concept of language, neither written nor spoken. How would God express himself towards such people?

Morally, I'm of the mind that if I ask a woman, "Is this your husband?" and she says, "Yes"; and if I ask the man, "Is this your wife?" and he says, "Yes"; then there is nothing else to say. They are married. But that's a far cry from filing my taxes or establishing next-of-kin rights.
