    The Way/Theosis/entire sanctification.

Yes, there are numerous ways to express the same thing. I think "putting off" the old man would imply a separation from it.

    The Way/Theosis/entire sanctification.

The church is His body on earth. He has chosen to work through earthen vessels (as well as that He can work sovereignly).

    The Way/Theosis/entire sanctification.

I've heard some describe it as being separated from our old man. The word of God being alive and active and able to penetrate (deep) to the dividing between soul and spirit, bone and marrow..

    The Way/Theosis/entire sanctification.

Brother, I believe prophets are primarily ploughmen........and then reapers (eg, evangelists) reap what the ploughmen have worked and laboured hard for (and paid the price), ploughing and sowing. Ploughing is the more difficult work....preparing and tilling the hardened soil of hearts to...

    The Way/Theosis/entire sanctification.

We're in a famine for the words of God I believe. Still there are some who are trying to get the church back to the true gospel and to turn from sin, but they are not often heeded.

    The Way/Theosis/entire sanctification.

I'm thinking of what Jesus said too about inviting those who were hitherto unbidden to the wedding....that the feast may be full. I suspect that mention about finding faith on the earth when He comes might need some revelation to understand what He had in mind. I don't have any confirmation of...

Me? Is that what you think I'm about? My posts speak for themselves and I didn't think you had a problem with them generally.

    The Way/Theosis/entire sanctification.

I do know what it's like to be under attack and accused for trying to encourage some folks to come up a little higher and start to see things through spiritual eyes and ears. It's hard to get some people to understand that leaven doesn't always mean bread. I'm sure the person you are talking...

    The Way/Theosis/entire sanctification.

The point is that what was conceived in her.......was Holy. And the same Christ is both the Beginning and the End. The Author as well as Finisher of our faith. The same Christ Jesus being both the Cornerstone of the foundation as well as the Capstone. The beginning and the end are all of one.

There is more to understand with that.....interesting that God was calling them clean or unclean long before the Law was given.

    The Way/Theosis/entire sanctification.

Yes, think I agree with this -the carnal mind is useful in practical ways, but not to rely on for spiritual understanding. It cannot perceive/discern the things of God and will lead us astray if that is what we are relying on instead of the mind of Christ (His spiritual mind, so to speak) to...

    The Way/Theosis/entire sanctification.

I'm not sure what you are trying to say brother. It has always been by faith......faith has always been necessary (faith not of anyone's own but is of the Spirit). It has always really been about a remnant....the new testament reveals that and commends those OT saints who had faith.....the...

    2 Powers in Heaven

I think we need to be careful of what unbelieving Jews think/thought or teach/taught. All due love and respect to the Jewish people, but most of them are and were unable to perceive and grasp spiritual truths of scripture, except for a remnant.....those saints who had a living relationship with...

Through the washing of the water of the word.

    The Way/Theosis/entire sanctification.

Consider that the animals in the ark represent "beast" men being saved and made clean. As per Peter's vision of the unclean animals, the bible interpreting itself. (Just as an aside - "As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be at the coming of the Son of man"...think we can expect a...

    The Way/Theosis/entire sanctification.

Only if the Holy Spirit gives them light to see/understand. Otherwise they can only really see the scriptures through the carnal mind. The ENTRANCE of the word giveth light...entrance into the heart, not just the carnal mind.

    The Way/Theosis/entire sanctification.

Jesus said to Nicodemus that we must be born of water and the Spirit (the Jews knew what it meant to be born of water....mikvah/baptism). Like as it says elsewhere that He came not by water only, but by water and blood. But the natural man can't perceive these things....our carnal minds are...

    The Way/Theosis/entire sanctification.

Think we need to consider that we are all in the ark, all who have received saving faith in Jesus which justifies us and reconciles us to God through Him. I love the types and shadows of scripture....would like to mention that there are three levels/stories in the ark. And perhaps that...

Is the story of Adam & Eve a parable?

I believe it's a true account but that there are also spiritual truths to be gleaned from the allegory which is also embedded in in it. "He speaks to us in parables", and we are told to compare spiritual with spiritual in scripture. It's like the account of Abraham, Sarah and Hagar, Isaac and...

    2 Powers in Heaven

So that verse was recorded and known well before the 16th century, long before Erasmus. And the numbers are compelling! Doesn't seem to contradict other scriptures either: Jhn 8:14 Jesus answered and said unto them, Though I bear record G3140 of myself, yet my record is true: for I know...
