    Orthodoxy vs "The Way".

These scriptures come to mind: "We offend in many ways all." (mostly inadvertently we hope, and not wilfully) "If you keep on WILFULLY sinning there is no more sacrifice for sins." "If I do that I don't want to do, it is no longer I who sin but sin living in me." (That is the grace and...

    The Way/Theosis/entire sanctification.

As long as it's being "organized" and orchestrated by the Head of it and not by man. There is a scripture that talks about being so soon beguiled away from the simplicity that is in Christ, like Eve was beguiled by the serpent. And that He gives gifts to everyone as the Spirit wills....so that...

    The Way/Theosis/entire sanctification.

I would say we keep seeking the Lord and His will and His righteousness and to please Him, day by day, and keep reaching for what lies ahead, and HE will and IS leading us to where HE wants us to be. (And thanks for that song, a balm for my frayed nerves and full of truth.)

    The Way/Theosis/entire sanctification.

Don't forget that Jesus is still alive and able to ordain whoever He wants for anything He wants. He doesn't have to use the agency of man to confer spiritual gifts/callings.

    The Way/Theosis/entire sanctification.

It is that, amen, I agree. But there can be a broader sense to things as sell and other scriptures that would seem to indicate so in this case. Matthew 18 for instance on the subject of forgiveness (loosing). Hasn't He sent and commissioned His church as a whole and isn't the church as a...

The UN and WHO have drafted a charter for Global Governance. They plan to get Biden to sign it before he leaves office.

Westerners are labouring under a spirit of stupor. It is one way that God judges. Not wise for the west to give up national sovereignty to the third world who are jealous of what the west has and only want to plunder us here. I saw about a minute of Anthony Blinken speaking at the UN and he...

A View Of The Meaning Of 1 Corinthians 1:10

Seems to me that the mind of Christ is in short supply these days and that is why we are not all of that same mind. So many churches/congregations are falling away from sound doctrine causing many sheep to scatter. Sign of the times.....falling away.....we were told it would happen. From what...

Dissociative Identity Disorder (formerly Multiple Personality Disorder) and Faith, Heaven, Hell

Would a wholistic approach involve what is happening spiritually as well...? What happens on a spiritual level affects the body and soul in very real ways.

I agree that demons are not part of the person, but they do attach to the person and so become part of the person in that sense. Yes, they need to be cast out, in God's timing when one is prepared and ready I think. Perfecting holiness in spirit, soul, and body.

Thank you for your comments. Think I see my situation more clearly, more unequivocally now, for what it is.

Dissociative Identity Disorder (formerly Multiple Personality Disorder) and Faith, Heaven, Hell

Yes, it's possible that we are talking about different things. In my case, the part which tried to protect and "cover" the real me wasn't of God but a product of another spirit. ok, I'll leave you to it and wish you well in your healing. Bless you sister.

Dissociative Identity Disorder (formerly Multiple Personality Disorder) and Faith, Heaven, Hell

You are taking this entirely the wrong way. We who believe are not condemned and neither am I condemning and judging or name-calling anyone. We ALL have sinned, and a humble and contrite heart God will not despise. Repentance is a dirty word to many, yet it is like the best kept secret in...

Dissociative Identity Disorder (formerly Multiple Personality Disorder) and Faith, Heaven, Hell

Not the traumatic experience itself, but it was my response to the trauma that caused me to go that route, as I described. Anyway I didn't mean to upset you with this. I will leave it alone.

    The Way/Theosis/entire sanctification.

As long as we don't abuse that grace and mercy, it will be extended to us. But God is not mocked........so best not to abuse it. A three fold cord is not easily broken, but it can be and sadly sometimes is. The devil still goes around like a roaring lion seeking who he may devour, no...

Dissociative Identity Disorder (formerly Multiple Personality Disorder) and Faith, Heaven, Hell

Yep, that sounds exactly like a large part of my life. That is what my false personality was made for....to protect the real me from abuse, as I understand it.....it was a false covering....where scripture says "you have covered yourself with a covering that is not of my spirit". And this...

    The Way/Theosis/entire sanctification.

That road leads to the simplicity of Christ, I believe. And I said to the church in general. It doesn't mean those who are not in leadership can impose church discipline. We are to be in submission to those the Lord has placed over us in the church.....greater gifts....apostles, prophets...

    The Way/Theosis/entire sanctification.

Brother, to my understanding, I believe Jesus was delegating His authority and power to the church in general, because we are all told to forgive our enemies. If we forgive those who trespass against us God will forgive them from heaven, meaning they will not suffer consequences in this life...

Dissociative Identity Disorder (formerly Multiple Personality Disorder) and Faith, Heaven, Hell

ok, so it wasn't full blown dissociation in my case. I never forgot it, but I put it on a shelf and just didnt' start to deal with it consciously until I was around 30....that was the first time it dawned on me that I had actually been abused. (Duh. lol.) What I hadn't retained in memory was...

Dissociative Identity Disorder (formerly Multiple Personality Disorder) and Faith, Heaven, Hell

I'm not calling myself a false personality, I'm only calling my false personality false, because it was. The real me went into hiding. I don't know how full-blown it was or what to compare it to. I just know that is what the Lord revealed to me about my situation and it taught me some...
