Elect or Not Elect: Why ALL Should Be Alarmed

Most people recognize the "antichrist" is synonymous with the "Little Horn" of Daniel. Following the prophetic timeline of Daniel leads to only one religio-political power that arose to fulfill all the identifying marks in prophecy for the "antichrist/little horn" - the papacy.

    Amigo's Question and Answer Thread

More like Judaism's "replacement". I mean, they weren't chosen because they were any better than the rest of the world, but because of God's promise to Abraham...but "chosen" status has always been subject to conditions, of which the Jews failed to meet, and thus were replaced.

    The Rapture Cover-up

I agree "the Spirit returns to God Who gave it" but what leads you to believe the "soul" goes to be with the Lord? BTW - the Soul begins to exist when the Body and Spirit unite so it can't continue to exist when these disjoin.

    Infant Baptism & Relics

Jesus specifically commanded the Christian church to "teach" baptismal candidates before baptism. However, since infants are incapable of being taught anything about the Gospel, they are not candidates for baptism.

    The Rapture Cover-up

Not sure why that's relevant. The "soul" in Hebrew means "life" or "whole being" - never "disembodied ghost that flies off at death".

    The Rapture Cover-up

The spirits go up (Ecclesiastes 12:7 KJV) but the soul goes down - Jesus' "soul" was not "left in hell".

    The Rapture Cover-up

It's both: the "spiritual" kingdom is inside, but the literal, tangible, glorified kingdom which is the same...is somewhere beyond Orion, I think.

    The Rapture Cover-up

You can't because that's not in the Bible. We're "caught up" to Jesus and - as His bride - we go back to His Father's house the same way an ancient Semitic bridegroom would go prepare a marriage chamber at his father's house before returning for his bride. He'd never stay at her father's house...

    The Rapture Cover-up

The same thing that's been "better" than this sinful world all along: the kingdom of heaven

    The Rapture Cover-up

The various names in Scripture for God means Christianity is polytheistic - right? Or, maybe the various names are used to describe different aspects of the one God? In the same way, "city of God" aka "heavenly Jerusalem" aka "paradise" aka "heaven" aka Jerusalem which is above" - are all...

    The Rapture Cover-up

Sure it does, for Jesus Himself says at we're "caught up" (rapture) at the same time the wicked are running to the rocks and mountains and dropping dead "at the brightness of His coming". Didn't Moses clarify to us that nobody can look upon God's glory while clothed in this mortal body and...

Who, or what, is the dreaded bogey man of prophecy?

If by "soul" you mean "disembodied, conscious ghost" - you're wrong. How many times do we have to point to Genesis 2:7 KJV which specifically says the Soul comes into existence as a consequence of the union of the Body and the Breath of Life"? The "Soul" consists either of the union of the...

Who, or what, is the dreaded bogey man of prophecy?

Many scholars agree Scripture indicates we cease to exist in death: R. F. Weymouth, one of the most authoritative Greek scholars in modern history: “My mind fails to conceive a grosser misrepresentation of language than when five or six of the strongest words the Greek tongue...

    The Rapture Cover-up

Friend, it's "promises" (plural), not "promise" (singular). New Jerusalem is one of many promises. "They will mount up wings as eagles" and "run and not be weary" are just two. (+ 1 point) Is Enoch subject to weariness or gravity? Of course not. (+ 1 point) "not see" is as easily defined as...

    The Rapture Cover-up

So, two reasons why I'm right: 1. Pretty sure Hebrews 11 mentions "promises" (plural) which includes eternal life, presence of the Lord, River of Life, Tree of Life, etc. 2. Dispensationalism is a lie. Heavenly Jerusalem already existed in Enoch's day - it's where God's throne is, the Heavenly...

    The Rapture Cover-up

I agree. The OP is not taking into consideration "these all died" does not apply to Enoch any more than "not having received the promises" since he's very much received the promise of eternal life.

    The Rapture Cover-up

Enoch: >now up in heaven >enjoying the privilege of heavenly citizenship >enjoying the company of perfect heavenly beings >enjoying the peace and tranquility of the divine glory >enjoying the sweet water of the River of Life and the delicious fruit from the Tree of Life >enjoying being "absent...

    The Rapture Cover-up

Nah, I'd have to read that for myself. Can you point to it? Where does it say the dead "float up to heaven" as their body drops to earth?

How could any "Christian" vote for Dems that fight for the right to kill 60 million babies???

The answer is 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 KJV. Most Conservative Christians know the Right Wing is corrupt but is far less offensive to God than is the party of baby murder, child exploitation, pervert protection, hate, reverse discrimination, subsidizing of the lowest forms of societal behavior...
