Book of Life / Predestination/Elect - My personal gleanings

Yes, many people have a lot of opinions. @Ronald Nolette. Thank you for sharing. Can I ask you who gives anyone the authority to assume authority with the use of the Bible? You could say God, or you could just say the Bible does. The thought I have, is that true though? I don’t believe anyone...

THE Trinity can Now be discussed.

I don’t want to go back and forth with people much these days. Growing older there are sometimes where people just need to be left to their own choices. If they seek for truth I believe God will help them find it. If people want to revolve the ever revolving revolver of whether the trinity is...

Where is the Lake of Fire?

Hello @Behold, It’s all subjective. Just as believing in God is subjective. Believing hell is done away with is subjective. And the revelation account, speculates that the lake of fire is in front of the lamb and his angels.

Where is the Lake of Fire?

@Bob Estey, many people wonder if the lake of fire still exists in the afterlife. God is a consuming fire and no darkness can enter in, there must be something to that. However people can speculate if they wish. I believe servants of the heavenly kingdom have something to do in heaven, perhaps...

    Driving.

Yes, I drive a car, it’s a 2010 model Kia and it has 308,000 miles on it. For the past 8 years. I’ve also invested in an electric bicycle it has 315 miles on it, and use it to get back and forth to work, @Ritajanice. I didn’t get my drivers license until I was 25 years old.

Where is the Lake of Fire?

Not sure on this one @Bob Estey. Perhaps, I do believe Gods love burns down our own darkness; I believe this in the scripture though deduces the lake of fire being in front of the Lamb and his Angels which is interesting.

    Hell is done away with?

    No doubt, @Bob Estey.

    Hell is done away with?

Revelation 20:11-20 at the end of the age, hell was vanquished. While ages continue to exist; this was the final end of the age of the Mosaic era.

THE Trinity can Now be discussed.

Hello @A Freeman, I just go by what I gather from the text most of the time, and try to go by the Holy Spirit; cause all we got is evidences, to go from. Can you just summarize what that link is?

THE Trinity can Now be discussed.

Thomas realized that Jesus was the Word of God. Yeshua was the representative of God as the Spoken Word. “If you have seen me you have seen the Father” not that it makes him the Father himself. This is key in my opinion to understanding how God (Yahavah) didn’t die on the cross his Word died for...

THE Trinity can Now be discussed.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God; this one was in the beginning with God; all things through him did happen, and without him happened not even one thing that hath happened.” ‭‭John‬ ‭1‬:‭1‬-‭3‬ ‭YLT98‬‬ The Word was God. How? Because the Word God...

    Medicare plans

Hello @Debp, My mothers coverage for 2025 is a payment of 300$ and something dollars every month. She is 65 years old. If she ever has an accident or something they will pay full coverage by and through Medicare with United Health Care coverage.I don't remember exactly what plans she also chose.

Rejecting Christ, or rejecting "Christianity"? (the church) ???

I obtained this book that features a comprehensive summary of various representations of hell, including Augustine's views on the subject. The author, who worked as a grave digger, financed his college education and compiled all this material. Im personally glad that hell has been taken care of...

Book of Life / Predestination/Elect - My personal gleanings

Hello @Truth7t7, It's perfectly okay if you no longer wish to continue the conversation. There exists a range of "Full Pretristism." I don't subscribe to every belief that someone might hold, much like there is a range of opinions on the belief that the second coming of Christ is just around...

Book of Life / Predestination/Elect - My personal gleanings

I see no reason to have hope that my name will be in the book of life. My only wish is to be with Yahavah at the end of my life. There seems to be no point in questioning whether my name is in that book. Why would there be? It doesn't make much sense to me. However, if you believe that your name...

Book of Life / Predestination/Elect - My personal gleanings

The Book of Life, to me is the genealogy of the people of Israel. It was the conclusion of that age. Exodus 32:31-33 Then Moses returned to the Lord, and said, “Alas, this people has committed a great sin, and they have made a god of gold for themselves. But now, if You will, forgive their...
