Please join me in prayer for my grandson

Lord, heal Pia's grandson to the full. Give his loved ones the strength to remain steadfast in their trust in You. Amen. So be it. Sis, it is so easy for God to heal him...so easy...never ever doubt this. xoxo

    The Inquisitions

A terrible example of ...of so many things...a person could make a list starting with ego, ignorance, arrogance, power and terrorism.

Did God Need Jesus' Sacrifice to Make You Acceptable to Him?

Oh, I see what you meant. I thought you meant now...of course, I do see Christians that still are...they can't seem to shake some childhood input that they are worthless, stupid, unwanted, showing how powerful words can be esp when we are young. They believe all the words of God's love, but...

Did God Need Jesus' Sacrifice to Make You Acceptable to Him?

And why is there self loathing? [That's for each person to ans...not to me.] Would you say anything that keeps us from God is a sin or missing the mark? Then, I would say it is mandatory to stop self loathing (shame, guilt, low self esteem, negativity...and the off loading it or projecting it...

Why did God love and forgive David so?

Ha...now you know what God feels...how much can He do?

Did God Need Jesus' Sacrifice to Make You Acceptable to Him?

I had to type in many abbreviations bb uses...but I believe I just came out and asked him this one..."with all due respect". I thought it was a typo until I saw it 3 xs!

Would you want to throw a Bible into a Mosque like here?

I wonder if a church in Ft. Collins will think of this...if it happens and is reported I'll keep us posted.

Self analysis of your Christian witness

Um...the Holy Spirit is full of love and guidance, clarity and comfort. There is no condemnation in the Holy Spirit or anything close to that. The p-u-r-i-t-y of the Holy Spirit is beyond imagination really...a Helper and Comforter.

Did God Need Jesus' Sacrifice to Make You Acceptable to Him?

Are you referring to the ques above your post? Or the op? Thanks.

Would you want to throw a Bible into a Mosque like here?

What do you think about what happened at a Colorado mosque...breaking of windows and throwing a Bible in? Something you want to do? What message does it give? Do you think it accomplishes anything? And what? Does it make you feel glad or disgusted that this happened? Any down sides to this...

    The Star of Bethlehem ?

Do you know much about it? Any theories? :)

    Casting down imaginations,

I have practiced this very thought control for over a decade. After a short while it's funny to see that you become uninteresting for 'the devil' to play with. I noticed an auto-pilot takes over...thoughts hardly bother you and if they do...they are easy to laugh at for exactly what they...

    Wind.....

Does a breeze count? Haha. After I found my mother peacefully passed away in her bed, at 88... I paced in her living room saying to myself..."This is a moment.... Take your time don't do anything rash." A breeze, stopped my next step, even pushing me back a bit...a voice, haha, not mine lemme...

    Peace be unto you

I read others quoting so many verses, often regarding punishments, obsessed with spreading fear of God or the afterlife...on all Christian forums. I don't read many talk about the Presence. Finally, someone else...

Jesus tells us the Words Spoken by a Man in Hell for over 2000 years!!!

Uh-huh...*I have made that clear...so what's your point. The Bible is necessary in the mind of a Jew or Christian, right. I dare say, not in an American Indian's, a Hindu's or a Buddhist's. I would never limit God to reveal His intentions in one manuscript. I am very ridiculed and attacked for...

    Nothing Without Him

This as actually all I read... I have for at least 10 yrs....all the minutia of daily life, lost car keys, late for an appt... He is my total refuge; I cast my cares, give Him my burdens ...sometimes I think it is easier when a person is self-employed (like me) to rely completely on our...

Jesus tells us the Words Spoken by a Man in Hell for over 2000 years!!!

Stranger, dear, this is the thing...I am on a Christian site....there is so much lack of respect in rocking the boat. We agree on so many lovely things ....that is what is respectful...I have no need to change anyone's beliefs. I really don't...unless someone is interested in what I say, why the...

    Coming of age with God

I would also rather read something it's like , 'Just give me the recipe, I don't need to watch a youtube." But, different strokes...

Jesus tells us the Words Spoken by a Man in Hell for over 2000 years!!!

I stopped talking about it and won't bring up my belief about it anymore... it's not the point of his thread. My first spontaneous post about praying for those in hell led to a couple more between the op and me...but no more. if someone ever starts a thread on the subject of whether hell is...
