Jesus is a human being but not the one true God

You said this in the above post: "...what God could have so many foolish people who dont even know who He is yet proclaiming they are His." Some of your posts accuse professing Christians that they "dont even know who He is..". Have you discerned if GodsGrace(who you were responding to) is one...

Jesus is a human being but not the one true God

It would help a little if you would click on "reply" so the person you are responding to can read his/her post in full. You said above: "You did not however reply to my question about your assertion about that word 'Experientalism' or however you spell that????" You might have me confused...

Jesus is a human being but not the one true God

I, and probably many others on these forums, appreciate your honesty and openness to explain your beliefs and experiences. 1. You stated above: "I have so far invited people on this forum to show me anywhere, where what I have reported Jesus as saying to me, is NOT in the Bible ( apart from...

    What Is A Christian?

I agree there was probably a lower percentage of tares in the very early church, compared with todays church. The word Christian doesn't seem to be defined in Scripture as far as I can tell. I'd prefer a solid definition which would be an absolute determination of someone's salvation, but that...

    What Is A Christian?

First called Christians in the church at Antioch, so Scripture says. Were they all born again? Weren't there wheat and tares in that church? So maybe they were all baptized, and that should be the sign of a person being a Christian.

    Avenge Our Blood!

You said: "My husband woke me to say: you displayed Christ and I mocked it." Thank you for this encouraging testimony and exhortation.

Secession should be considered and allowed

"Everyone would rather be the owner." No, this old boy would rather be the slave. You might ask why: Even though my "human nature" (old man) says it would be much better to be the slave owner, as a slave I would be almost forced to learn to submit to God. Much more suffering leads to much...

Jesus is a human being but not the one true God

Here is what Pia said: "He was not however deemed to be The Son until showing Himself able to live without sin,..." Here is what I said to Ozspen" "That statement seems un-Biblical also." Now what does your statement have to do with Jesus not "deemed to be The Son until showing Himself able to...

Jesus is a human being but not the one true God

These are the only sentences that are my own words in the post that you responded to: "It may come from her personal face to face encounters with a man she calls Jesus." "That statement seems un-Biblical also." That is all I said and it does not seem like bullying to me. And, she has since...

Jesus is a human being but not the one true God

No, the "first time we hear Him referred to by God as His Son..." was in Psalm 2:7 "“I will declare the decree: The Lord has said to Me, ‘You are My Son, Today I have begotten You."

Jesus is a human being but not the one true God

"Seems like your doctrine of babies and young children have no sin comes from your or somebody else's imagination." It may come from her personal face to face encounters with a man she calls Jesus. She also said: "He was not however deemed to be The Son until showing Himself able to live...

    Bullying

One issue might be: is this bully a Christian? If he or she is bullying you, maybe silence will work and the person should then ask for forgiveness from you. If silence does not work and the the bullying continues, I think accusing your brother/sister of sin in private is called for. I think we...

    Why water into wine?

" Does the Church described above sound like the Baptists or Methodists or Presbyterians or the thousands of Calvinist or "non-denominational" Evangelical churches or Pentecostal or Unitarian or Oneness churches? NO - it sounds just like the Catholic Church of today." I think the answer is...

Any prophecies out there we can actually believe?

I think we disagree. I hope, by faith, to accept only the words of Scripture as infallible; not "Their words were as infallible as ours when and if they or we were/are allowing the Holy Spirit in us to quicken God's Word in our mouths." If you mean by "God's Word in our mouths" as the very words...

    Depending on Pharmaceuticals

"But what if the enemy has us seeking the wrong cure." Really good questions you ask. Instead of wanting to die when things are overwhelming, I attempt to focus on this verse in 1Peter: 13. "Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is...

Any prophecies out there we can actually believe?

Thank you for your reply. But wouldn't an Apostle or Prophet from the very early Church speak infallibly? Their teachings have been written down, in Scripture. An apostle or prophet coming after the beginning of the Church, can only proclaim what is already been written; which happens a lot...

Any prophecies out there we can actually believe?

I think you might include Apostles along with Prophets. Those two gifts seem to have ended with the last of the Apostles.
